The first San-in travel souvenir!
Shimane Prefecture's famous sake Oroku!
Find a store that carries it and buy it!
The first one is Junmai-shu.
It is crisp, dry and full of rice flavor!
I would like to drink it warmed up when the weather gets cooler.
Today's BayStars pitcher was Kay, but unfortunately, he was a black star 😢 Good job, so we will continue with this sake in honor of Kay.
This is the first time for me to drink Oroku. I bought the 334th bottle at Wadaya in Oimachi, limited to 390 bottles. The aroma has a sourness like that of a sake yeast yeast yeast yeast. On the palate, there is a hint of acidity and a cohesive, mellow sweetness and spiciness that disappears nicely.
The alcohol content is high at 17.5 degrees, but there is no roughness, so you can't help but drink it.
I'm drinking it with a pinch of Sambo Master from Fuji Rock on Amapura. Delicious✨

I drank Oroku for the first time a while ago, and since then I feel that I have lost my resistance to classic dry sake.
The initial aroma is smoky 🤔.
The sweetness is almost none or a little bit small, and there is also a chirichiri gasiness.
I felt the umami and alcohol strongly from the beginning to the middle of the bottle, and a little fruity aroma from the middle to the end 🤔.
Personally, I like sweet fruity sake, but Ohroku is between modern and classic, not too dry and full of umami, so I really enjoyed it 😊.

Oroku Hachimaru
It has the astringency and umami typical of 80% low-polishing sake, with a salami-like aroma, but also a strange elegance without any unpleasant tugging.
We are currently exploring izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) in front of Matsumoto Station. However, the cost will be high, so we are trying to keep it moderate.
This restaurant opened last week next to the ramen shop Hizuki. The location and the fact that the restaurant opens at 3:00 p.m. are in line with the drinking habits of Matsumoto.
The young and pleasant master is a one-man operation. The food is delicious and the sake selection is maniacal, with four brands from within the prefecture and four from outside. I think it's seamless.
We will spread the word in a small way.
Correction.
The sake brands were 4 in-prefecture and 6 out-of-prefecture.
On the second day of my trip to the Chugoku region, I discovered a new brewery that I had been curious about for some time, Oroku, so I decided to give it a try.
The aroma was complex, with an indescribable scent that could be described as ripe banana, almond, or disinfectant.
In the mouth, it is tangy, dry, stimulating, and a little astringent. However, the lingering aroma is sweet and mellow. This is also a complex flavor that is hard to describe.
It is not my favorite, but I can understand why it is said to be delicious.

The owner of the sushi restaurant was introduced on TV as a French chef!
The dishes are served one after another, and the chef keeps serving us delicious dishes with a little extra effort!
The sashimi is fresh!
I could eat a belly full of cod!
The next sake was Oroku!
Hachimaru 80% polished rice, unadulterated sake, served on Oroku's debut!
The color is a bit pale.
The taste is deep!
It reminded me of the Oroku sake drinking comparison party I once attended in Sapporo and Uriinde!
