I felt a bit of a strange taste when I opened the package, and thought, "What? I was a little disappointed. I like Junmai Ginjo (navy blue label) because it is easy to drink, so I was a little more disappointed than expected.
However, the manager told me to drink it 3 days later, and to my surprise, it was easy to drink and I could feel the natural sweetness! Calm? Cleaner?
It was more beautiful than the Junmai sake I had imagined, with the fruity taste of Tenpyo.
I thought sake was amazing.
It did not interfere with the meal and gave the impression of being easy to pair with it.
It has the firmness of junmai, with a hint of fruitiness like white peaches and ginjo aroma like green bamboo and lime. The lingering aftertaste is also refreshing and versatile.
One of only two sake breweries in Kagoshima Prefecture
Nishi Sake Brewery boasts a 170-year history. 👏.
We found Tenpyo in Tokyo, which we drank when we went on a trip to Kagoshima.
It is still delicious.
We also felt the deliciousness of Junmai rice, though somehow.
Kagoshima has a culture of shochu, but sake is also good.
We recommend it.
New bottle opened at home after a long time
This is my first bottle of Tenpyo.
The mouthfeel is clear and gentle, with a slight liveliness.
As you drink it, the Aizan-like aroma spreads elegantly.
Finishes with a crisp finish.
Aizan gives the impression of being a strong aromatic sake, but this sake is elegant and well put together.
This sake is made with the same state-of-the-art structural equipment as Jyushiyo. It is made by the same brewery that produces Tomino Hozan. Like Jyushiyo, it is sweet and refreshing on the palate, and disappears neatly, leaving a sweet taste. It is an easy-drinking, delicious sake, like sake from the Tohoku region.
I had something to do in Ginza, so I went for lunch.
My first visit to Sushi Kiyoshi and my third 🍶.
Tenpyo Junmai Daiginjo. This luxurious sake is made from Tojo Yamadanishiki rice polished up to 35%. It's Tenpyo, so of course it's delicious! 😆 Gorgeous aroma and elegant sweetness. 😆 It has a gorgeous aroma and an elegant sweetness that everyone seems to agree is delicious.

I went to CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2025🤗
This time it's Tenpyo's Aizan, which I had spotted after researching it beforehand.
The pink label is more beautiful than the one I'm used to seeing at Tenpyo 💖.
In addition to the sweetness, you can taste the bitterness.
It is still fresh and smooth 😚.
I am surprised that this is brewed in Kyushu 🤩.
It is said to be super dry. There is not much aroma. Super dry" is not a bad word. It has a very strong entry. But it goes away quickly, so it is easy to drink. To say that it makes you feel a rush might be an exaggeration. But it is like that. Personally, I find it easy to drink because it doesn't leave any residue on the palate.
