Since our dinner was hamo shabu hamo (pike conger eel), sake was the only choice! So I decided to drink Ottersai.
It seems to be a reimported product of one sold in other countries...
Anyway, it is easy to drink. ‼︎ It is sweet and the aftertaste disappears quickly.
It was a pity that the bottle dripped when it was filled.

The rice is Yamadanishiki imported from Japan.
They hope to grow their own sake rice in America in the future!
It has a mix of umami and sourness, with the sourness prevailing.
But the reimported product costs more than twice as much as regular Junmai sake.
