The last one in the "Fruity Set" is from the great Otter Otter.
I made love to this "Otter" for the first time since I bought it a few years ago.
It was the same 30%/90% at that time too. ☺️
The aroma, sweetness, umami, and aftertaste are all very satisfying and beautiful 🍶.
It's still delicious ✨✨.
It was the most fruity and rich but not too rich and clear out of the three 🎵.
I gave it to my two companions and they said, "Isn't it too sweet? I was told it was "too sweet".
What a laugh!
I gave it to a guy who usually only drinks whiskey and a guy who says "I like dry whiskey" 😭
But that aside, the order of drinking this fruity set is pretty important 🍶.
I was right to start from the first one ♬.
Today, I drank Ottersai, one of the three most famous brands in Japan.
This is my first time drinking Yamaguchi Prefecture sake.
I found it by chance at a liquor store in Takayama city and bought it.
It's almost 2 years old though😅.
I heard a spurting sound when I opened the bottle. The aroma is a pineapple type ginjo aroma.
It has a good balance of sourness, umami, and sweetness.
It has no habits and is easy to drink, so if you are not careful, you will drink too much.
No wonder this is a popular brand even after its boom.
Winter-only cold-zukuri early vat. 30.9 percent.
Almost colorless and transparent.
Fruity aroma like melon.
It has a soft mouthfeel and a light flavor that fills the mouth. The sweetness is followed by a slight dryness at the end. It is a bad sake that is too easy to drink and can be drunk as much as you want. (In a good way).
I had it cold and it is crisp and delicious.
Compatibility with the food I tried to match it with
Small package→X
Filet of pork cutlet→X
Croquette → ○
Cured ham
Cream cheese
Of course it goes well with cured ham and cream cheese, but it is surprising that it goes well with small package and croquette.
I don't drink this very often because it is expensive.
The aroma is clean, classical, and liquor-like.
The texture is pure and clean.
Slight ginjo aroma, beautiful sweetness and fresh flavor.
The tangy bitterness and alcohol give a youthful impression.
Sukiyaki pull.
It is a good, orthodox sake.
Pair it with a salted Hokke fish.
Degree of liking ☆3.5/5
Tasted otters for the first time in a long time.
It is fruity and delicious.
However, I wonder if there are other tasty sakes that don't cost this much?
I felt again.
