We were notified of a new shipment on 7/15, but I couldn't get there right away due to business 😭.
Since Chigasaki has the "Dawn Festival Hamafuri Festival" from 7/16 midnight to 7/17 early morning, we expected that all the bottles would be drunk and not run out.... Sure enough, there were still some left.
This sake was a refreshing sweet sake.

The color is clear and the aroma is melon 😀.
In the mouth, first sweetness, then bitterness, then pungency, then a refreshing break, that kind of thing. It is quite delicious.
Kake rice is 78% Senbon-Nishiki and koji rice is 21% Yamada-Nishiki 🤔.
It was hot today, and I thought maybe beer, but I dared to go with sake. I had it with grilled eggplant. I love Japanese summer 🤩.

It is as versatile as ever. I can taste sweetness, bitterness, and sourness, but it is basically refreshing. It goes with everything.

I was wondering when to open the bottle,
But I opened it.
It tasted like "pear" at first and then "melon" right after!
It has a nice fruity acidity!
And then..,
I was happy with the long aftertaste as the flavor spread over my tongue with a sizzle!
