Lightly cloudy with a hint of sweetness. It has a gorgeous aroma that can only be achieved with aleso. The easy-to-drink aftertaste cuts through easily. The alcohol content is high at 18%. Sake rice is Gohyakumangoku, and the rice polishing ratio is 65%.

The aroma is subdued❓. When you drink it, it is faintly melon 🍈😊. The sweetness is moderate, not too spicy and smooth❗️ It's an aluzoe, but it's not too alcoholic and it's gentle 👍 but it's too gentle and it's not enough🤔. I've heard that it's recommended to drink it warmed up, so I'm going to try that next time❗️Overall, it was a light and easy to drink delicious sake😊.

Purchased at a Fukui Prefecture antenna store in Tokyo. Served cold. At first sip, the aroma was not particularly strong, but as soon as it hit the palate, a full, soft sweetness spread across the palate! I wanted to check the surprise again and again, and as I continued drinking, I noticed a slight sourness or bitterness. As I continued to drink it, I started to taste a little sourness or bitterness ⁉︎ but it tasted like ripe bananas.... How about beef stew or meat pie next time?

At my usual liquor store, the lineup was not very decisive for me, as I am a jacket-buying type of person. In such a case, I was torn between Ichikyorai and Kutouryu Junmai, thinking that Kuroryu Kutouryu is a safe choice. I chose the Kutouryuu, hoping for a rummy taste. I finished it in a flash and was satisfied as expected.

This year, Kutouryuu Jungin Dareguchi was overshadowed by Kuroryu Jungin Dareguchi and could not be found at all! The Kutouryuu series is characterized by its high cost performance and the use of sake rice produced in Fukui! Last year, when we had a first contact with this sake, we were impressed by its rich and fresh melon flavor. ...... is a twist, isn't it? I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a bottle of sake that's been in production for 6 months.... I'm not sure I would have noticed the twist if I hadn't had the experience of drinking it. On a side note, the master of the liquor store told me that Kutouryuu's new autumn sake will be hiyaoroshi, which is a hiyaoroshi with a dripping mouth. Sounds sweet!

I didn't drink enough "Umeko no Himitsu" today. I'll have an extra bottle of Kutouryuu Kijoshu, a souvenir (for myself) from the Shinshu/Hokuriku round-the-border tour. I'll have some more Kutouryuu Kijoshu. Oh, oh, it smells like cemedine! (I feel like I've done it!). In the mouth, it is a wonder, soft taste and mild sweetness. The soft taste and mild sweetness is truly the magic of Kuroryu! I didn't know kijoshu could be so mild. I thought it would be more like a radical sweetness! Oh no, this balance is exquisite! Kuroryu Shuzo, you are a god!
