This is Kuninochou nigorizake🍶 from Kotobuki Shuzo in Settsutonda, where sake brewing has been practiced since ancient times. It is a sweet nigori sake that is easy to drink and has a slight effervescence but not too much.
After a hard day's work after the New Year, I took a break ☺️. I'm going to match it with Zoni with Chinese-style wontons, delicious Nikurage (jellyfish) and Amaou🍓! The New Year's mood is over now ⁇😁.
provincial governor (under the ritsuryo system, any of a group of officials, esp. the director)
Mellow. Sweet yet lip numbing throat numbing. Quick to turn.
Sake of Settsutonda. The frog on the back is nice.
They also make beer and shochu. The sales floor looks like a warehouse. I would like to go there if it were closer.
Purchased on a business trip to Osaka. I usually go to a certain yakitori chain that serves Kuninonaga beer and sake, but the timing was not right this time, so I bought it at a Seven in Shin-Osaka. It is made from Gohyakumangoku. It is a juicy sake with sweetness, gorgeousness, and richness all at once.
Sake brewed in 1998.
This was my first time to drink old sake.
It was not my favorite taste.
The long aging process gave it a beautiful amber color!
I thought it might be a good match for people who drink whiskey or something! LOL!
At Kotobuki Shuzo's Kuranomi. It can be drunk smoothly without any resistance. The soft, fruity aroma that lingers afterward is cool. The serving temperature, which is not too cold, is delightful.
Business trip to Osaka.
I met it at a convenience store and immediately decided on it because of its reasonable size and fresh sake.
It seems to be a Seven-Eleven limited edition.
It is sweet but not too strong. Delicious.
I wonder if my auntie in Osaka was pleased. I remember Ebisu's face welcoming me and saying, "Hey, you came! I put flowers on the ground, sat down next to the house, and had a can of beer and a takoyaki. The roofs of the houses are in harmony with the mountain ridges, making the sky seem closer. Even though I can't see them, they are certainly here, and that's why I come to report to them. My aunt was a good listener and turned her own pain into laughter. Even when I knew she had only a few days to live, I was unable to notice anything as I met her. It left an unusual aftertaste, like a film on my tongue. I return. I return to report back.
The melon-like aroma is pleasant, and the sweetness makes you feel happy. It has a strong taste, but not too strong. The label is cute 🐸.
Snacks (meal): Sashimi (tuna, sea bream, salmon, squid, sweet shrimp, hokki-gai shellfish), Manganji togarashi (red pepper), pickled eggplant

3.4 ★★★☆☆☆☆
Mmm. Happoshu with sake. It has the sweetness of kijoshu, so it's good for those who like sweet beer, but not for beer lovers.
I am still on a business trip and have traveled to Osaka, so I got this at a convenience store on my way home.
It has a nice sourness and a refreshing sweetness.
It was very, very delicious!
