The last sake I purchased on my GW Niigata trip. I opened Hishiko. As stated on the label, it had a mellow sweet sake quality that brought out the aroma of the yeast, the umami of the rice, and a beautiful sweetness. It has a clean aftertaste, making it an excellent choice as a mealtime sake. I would like to try it again on my wonderful trip to Niigata.

Purchased at the Niigata Sake-no-jin 2025! One of the most delicious sake, Junmai Daiginjo Oorigarami Nama of Ryoko, which I bought immediately! We came around from the back side of the venue, and even though it was the latter half of the event and we were getting quite drunk, the taste was so good that it awakened our eyes! I could not help but exclaim, "Yum! The aroma was gorgeous and fruity, like pears, A refreshing citrusy grapefruit-like flavor, It has a calm sweet and sour taste, It is clear and crisp, yet has a refined rice flavor. This is a new sake that my favorite liquor store has recently started to carry. I used to prefer Garakudai when it came to Niigata, but I think I prefer Hishiko. It is not as sour as Senkyoku, but has just the right amount of acidity and a great umami flavor.

Hishiko 🌸 very tasty as the gentle label suggests 💕 Gentle, softly sweet, with a slightly mature astringency, it's so light and refreshing that it's hard to believe it's 16 degrees, it's so drinkable 🥰. And it's sushi for Wednesday 💪 that you don't want to miss! And chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) to go with the gentle Hishiko 💕 shrimp 🦐 sunk 💦 oven-roasted chicken thigh and eringi mushrooms, pickled mini tomatoes 🍅. (I'm making a bed of salted rice bran to consider pairing pickles with sake in the future 🧐) I was impressed by the sushi's red vinegar rice, which suited Tomoko's taste. ‼️ The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was also in good harmony with other gentle things 🥰. It was a very relaxing dinner: ❤️ The impression of the sake by itself is in charge of shinsake3 💕.

Overall 9 (out of 10) This is the first sake I've ever had. （It was sold as a set with Huayoukou 😅. According to the description According to the description, it's "a sake with a good taste of rice and a beautiful sweetness. 👍 It's delicious 😋. It is a sweet and delicious sake just as the description says 👍 I imagine that the slight astringency and bitterness is restrained so that it does not become too sweet, but I think the basic taste is sweet 😃. It suits my taste 👍 The sake that is sold as a set with Huayoukou is always the first sake that I have ever tasted, and many of them are fresh and seem to be equal to or better than Huayoukou ⁉️ I had it chilled.
