Cheers to a special sake commemorating 155 years in business 🥂.
Very different from the W the other day, very calm and light on the palate 😊.
It's fun to compare drinks from the same brewery 🍶.

Today we enjoyed another sake from Gifu Prefecture.
We had a bottle of Hourai Nakadori Junmai Ginjo, the main brand of Watanabe Shuzo in Furukawa, Hida City.
We bought it at a liquor store in Takayama City.
The aroma has an apple-like ginjo aroma.
In the mouth, it has a slightly astringent taste, followed by sweetness and a peach-like flavor.
W is good, but Hourai is also delicious.
First, drink it at room temperature. Gentle and soft rice flavor spreads on the palate. The aftertaste is clean and well-balanced. I bought it as a souvenir from Hida, but later I found it in a supermarket in my hometown, Toyama.
Drank 4 gou of sake. It was the first hiyaoroshi since I got into sake, and it was delicious all the way through, with a tender and delicious aftertaste!
