Summer is the time for Fushimi sake and seasonal snacks!
Today's sake is Gekkeikan's seasonal junmai nama-zake. It has a unique sweet and sour taste with rice flavor similar to that of Kenryo, and goes very well with snacks. Today, I'm preparing for the hard work of the coming summer ☀️ with a summer extravaganza of flat horse mackerel 🐟 and white squid 🦑 😋.
It has a gorgeous aroma and a hint of sweetness, but I bet this is a delicious sake that goes well with entrées.
I think the aroma is more like Jungin.
I think I can taste the sweetness of this one.
But it is not too sweet and has a nice crispness.
It is a nice and refreshing sake.
Getting tipsy at Aozora 🎶Lunch🎶.
As a matter of course, he chose a restaurant that serves alcohol 😁It is inevitable that every place in Kyoto will be crowded at noon on Saturday, but Ane-san 🤣, a Kyoto powerhouse, knows the best places to eat 👍.
In the middle of the sake comparison, I enjoyed the best raw sake 😋.
I haven't reached the main event of this trip yet, but I'm beyond tipsy 😅 Let's go sightseeing to sober up a bit from here 🎵Travel time is sleep time 😪.
Drinkable size purchased at a local supermarket. It has a refreshing lactic acid type aroma. Surprising. The top clear liquid has a rich sweet rice flavor, which is the essence of Japanese sake. When mixed with ori, it adds a rich amazake-like flavor. It is sweet, but easy to drink due to the low alcohol content and the refreshing taste of the arugula. But I don't think it can be drunk by itself. 😖It becomes amazake when the temperature rises. Tsumami is sashimi and bomb natto.
It is not only refreshing and easy to drink, but also has a strong flavor.
It has a slightly residual alky taste, but it is perfectly acceptable as a food sake.
It is also fun to drink it with the little cups that come with it.
It's true that if someone says it's grape, it's not hard to understand.
But it doesn't look like wine or grape juice.
The aroma is pleasant and the taste is easy to drink.
It is sweet, but it is pleasant on the palate and does not leave a lingering aftertaste.
It's almost like a juice, so even people who don't like sake can enjoy it!
