Today, my physical examination was successfully completed 😄. I have eaten nothing but udon and tofu for the past two or three days. Naturally, I stopped drinking yesterday. I had my favorite yakitori (grilled chicken) and sake, Gekkeikan's "Junmai-shu" which is delicious with soda. It's a sake that goes well with summer, just like Fushimi's sake, and it's served with soda! It's going to be a summer staple. ☀️ ...And a recommendation for everyone, pickled zucchini (easy to make) is delicious 😋.
Cool and refreshing. It is refreshing and easy to drink. The aroma after drinking is like cucumber. If you want to enjoy it with snacks, I recommend yam and okra salad.
Just out of curiosity. 5% is amazing, that's a lot of beer or shochu high.
What is it? Yogurt-like sweetness and sourness. The sweetness is quite strong, like mirin (sweet cooking rice wine). Well, I don't think this one goes well with it.
EXPO2025 GEKKEIKAN WORLD SAKE Vietnam × Thailand [Gekkeikan, Kyoto
Slightly sweet with a slightly sour mouthfeel. Sense of apple cider vinegar. A lingering bitter taste.
Ingredients: Rice (from Vietnam), Rice Koji (from Thailand)
Alcohol content: 13° to 14
Sweet aroma with some citrus flavor. Tastes citrusy as well. As the label says, sweet and juicy. There is an astringent aftertaste. No residual sweetness, so it is easy to drink. Delicious.
This is the sake I received. It is a junmai-daiginjo with a nice, smooth taste of rice! It is a delicious sake with a delicious rice flavor and smooth taste!
60%, 15-16 degrees.
A refreshing aroma with a hint of acidity on the other side of the round sweetness of rice.
Refreshing mouthfeel with acidity. The flavor of rice lingers on the tongue.
The aftertaste is a little bitter at the back of the throat.
It goes well with meals.
