At best, it is light, slightly dry, delicate, and easy to drink without any peculiarities. In other words, it tastes light with little rice flavor.
It tastes exactly the opposite of cheap sake, so if you are not a fan of cheap sake, this may be a good introductory sake for you.
Purchased last fall when I visited the Gekkeikan Okura Memorial Museum in Fushimi, Kyoto.
It is a classic label.
It is a product of a long-established company and has a seamless and well-balanced aroma and taste.
The first sip is soft and fruity, but as you drink more and more, the delicious taste of rice gradually seeps out.
The sake has a smooth taste, so it is easy to drink too much of it.
Thank you for the sake.
I didn't have much time, so I went to Tamagushi River near Onchi Station in Yao City, though it was not so much cherry blossom viewing.
I bought this at a Kinko's store because there didn't seem to be a liquor store in the neighborhood.
It is dry and low in alcohol, so it has a slightly sweet and crisp taste.
I appreciate the low alcohol content because my liver is not very good at all.
I wouldn't say it's fresh, but it does have the flavor of fresh sake!
I kept it at room temperature, but I guess that's okay.
I prefer it not too fresh, and I appreciate it that way!
I've been into Kizakura lately, but they don't have much of it.
If I can keep a good Gekkeikan, it will be more convenient.
I'll keep this and THE shot.
And on the way home, I heard that a certain liquor store had Kurumizaka, so I went there, but they didn't have what I wanted!
Sorry I left without buying it!
Good evening.
I can understand if it has this many features.
I thought about trying the "King of the Night", but I'm not in the mood for it.
I thought about trying the King of the Night, but I'm not in the mood for it, so it was great to go through with it.
Then the second one!
...It's okay! I can drink as much as I want before bedtime, but it's practically zero percent 🍶.
So much for stupidity.
Correcting my earlier post, the red one is easier to drink! (palm twirling)
This one is fruity, gorgeous on the tongue, light, easy to drink and delicious!
I would prefer this one for everyday drinking... or maybe the taste is too much and the black one is more refreshing... I guess I like it or not... 💁.
Pon-chan (please excuse me for omitting "san"!) Hello good evening!
I was surprised that the red was really too easy to drink!
Take care 😋(If it tastes good, I think it's ok even the day before work because it's practically zero %...(...))
I found this when I was shopping for a cup of sake at a liquor store.
I bought a red one and a black one and started with the black one that said "fruity" for now.
Impression
The aroma is fruity, but the taste is not strong.
It was my first time to drink Gekkeikan, so I can't compare, but I found it easy to drink 😋.
It might be good for everyday drinking.
2 bottles of 1 gouge size for 498 yen!
