I attended the "Akanesusukai" brewery opening event at the Tsuchiya Sake Brewery of "Kame no Umi".
It was a very precious and enjoyable time.

The Nouveau Akanesasu, pumped directly from the tanks in the refrigerated room, which literally had a lid on it, was so mellow and crisp that I drank about four glasses of it.
There was also time for a tour of the brewery guided by the toji (master brewer).

President Tsuchiya, Toji Suzuki, and the brewery staff were very friendly to me, even though I was a first-time visitor,

This is the first Akanesu since a few years ago when my wife's father brought it to me. Somehow it was in a local liquor store and we made eye contact 👀 why are you here?
I imagined it to be dark, but when I put it in my mouth, I was surprised to find "ah, it's beautiful", then the sourness and alcohol quickly passed through my nose and the bitterness was a nice accent. The rice flavor, pleasant aroma and sweetness like a ginjo lingers on the tongue.

Obtained as a tax return gift from Furusato (hometown) in a four-pack bottle. A cup in an inokuchi (cup with a small cup).
The color is almost transparent with a faint golden hue and a slight body, reminding one of sweet honey with its gorgeous Kamitatekoso.
In the mouth, the fruity aroma spreads with a good sweetness, and the c/e ratio is just right: not too sweet, but dramatically delicious with umami and a slight raw sake flavor. There is also a slight hint of rummy. The spiciness comes out at the end and it goes down nicely.
Overall, the impression is of a modern sake with a leading presence. I would like to get it again.

Nine days after opening the bottle, it has a slight pineapple taste.
