I had it cold as a New Year's Day sake on New Year's Day 2025 when I went home to my parents' house.
As a junmai sake, it has a sweet impression on the palate, but it is light and light with a strong umami and acidity. We paired it with scallops, tuna, and salmon sashimi, and it was a good match.

Fukuju is often sold by tasting at Kobe Hankyu. For some reason, I had never had a chance to taste it before, but since I had to go to the trouble of buying it (what?), I decided to buy it. I bought it.
There is no aroma. First, there was the acidity. Then, the explosive rice flavor gives it a strong sense of being a delicious sake. It is clearly spicy, equivalent to Java Curry Dry Mouth in terms of curry, but there is nothing that makes you feel a strong sensation.
Despite the neat label, it is a sake for the tastes of the experts.

Today is New Year's Eve. This is the last sake of the year. So, I would like to introduce this year's Kanji characters.
