This was also purchased on the way back from climbing a mountain ⛰️ It has become a regular practice to go mountain climbing and buy rare local sake 😄. Low temperature storage in the snow of the Northern Alps❄️ Fresh but gentle on the palate. You can drink it with a delicious yet refreshing taste. A delicious tsumami from Nagano 😁.

go-around Located in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture, at the foot of the Northern Alps at an altitude of over 700 meters, the brewery produces sake under the blessed natural environment of contract rice cultivation in Shinano-Omachi and limpid water from the Northern Alps. From Daiginjo to regular sake From Daiginjo to regular sake, we have been working on local production for local consumption using rice contracted with local farmers since 1990. Since 1990, we have been working on local production for local consumption, and since 2017, we have been Since 2017, we have been using contract rice grown in Shinano-Omachi rice is used as raw material. The main sake brewing rice varieties Miyamanishiki, Hitogokochi, Kanamonishiki, and Todorokiwase are grown within a 7 km radius of the brewery. Omachi City is blessed with beautiful rivers, and its tap water comes from four water systems: the Yazawa, Iyari-ri, Shirasawa, and Kamishirasawa water systems. For example, in the Omachi shopping district, the water used by the stores on the east side and the west side is different. On the east side, the water is called "Onna-no-Shimizu," which comes from a spring in Iyari-ri, a 900-meter-high mountain, and on the west side, "Otoko-no-Shimizu," which comes from a spring in Kamishirasawa (upstream of the river at the entrance of Kurobe Dam) in the Alps at an elevation of nearly 3,000 meters, and flows to each tap.

Omachi-shi, Nagano Usui Shoten Hakuba-Nishiki, extremely delicious As the name suggests, it is dark and delicious. This sake is as good as the local cuisine of Nagano Prefecture, which is rich in flavor. We had it with Sanzokuyaki 😊.

Very slight effervescence. A leafy aroma that is hard to describe. Sweet taste. Flows like water from the mouth to the throat. Nice. I bought this at a brewery opening event last week. Don't tell anyone that the specs are very similar to the blue one of a certain sake. Probably a limited label for the Kurabiraki event. It goes super well with the Chinese dumplings I bought at a Chinese restaurant in front of the station during the event! It refreshes the palate while still retaining some sweetness! Maybe they designed it to be so? This may be my personal favorite of the event.

It has a clear, floral flavor that spreads out and a fine feel that quickly recedes. The image of the name "Hakuba Nishiki" and the mouthfeel are well matched.

Slight bitterness and sourness in the mouth. The aftertaste is refreshing. I prefer to drink it with a small snack rather than drinking it by itself.

Shinano-Omachi Sanzo Drinking Walk. The charm of this event is that you can drink as much as you want as long as you pay the entry fee. We've been waiting for this! This year, there were fewer snacks and no (dreaded) hot sake corner. It's an open secret that it's all about lelac.

Sake with a very good balance of aroma, drinking comfort, and richness. It has a non-habitual, elegant flavor that goes well with any food. In fact, it may be better served with foods that have a strong flavor. Sake rice is Miyamanishiki Polishing ratio 55
