In April, I had the light nigori of Mio, a junmai ginjo from the same company, and today I will have the active nigori version 😀.
The top aroma of the light nigori was a little more gorgeous than the light nigori 🤣.
Both are fruity and delicious, but the active nigori is naturally more fruity and has a more robust fruitiness with a hint of sourness.

It smells like wine, and when I drank it, imagining it to be highly acidic, I found it to be "sweet" and easy to drink at a low alcohol content of 13 degrees.
I was scared to open the bottle, but it was perfectly fine and docile.
Aroma: sourness, sake lees, grapefruit?
When you drink it, it's not very lively, but there is a slight carbonation. It's deliciously schwashy.
The fresh sweetness and sourness are on the tongue, and as it rolls around, you can feel the light and rich flavor.
At the end, the bitterness comes in gradually.
A delicious, active nigori with a refreshing aftertaste that is perfect for drinking 🫧.
Even after a few days, when the fizz is gone, it is still crisp and cohesive. The supernatant alone is more acidic and has a clear, delicious aftertaste, but when mixed, it becomes silky and mellow.
I was happy to be able to drink it this year, although it seems that last year there was quite a small amount!

The store owner attacked me and I was well on my way to buying it (I was forced into a full count and struck out).
It was recommended first and served at the end of the tasting and I caved.
I drink it room temperature, and it has a tingling tongue sensation with a bitter acidity. After that, it firmly asserts itself as a trendy, aromatic sake.
(When cooled (as was the case when I tasted it), the sweetness comes out and the sake goes down your throat easily.
