This is the second bottle of local sake from Numazu on my trip to Shizuoka. While most Shizuoka sake is refreshing, the liquor store said it has a strong umami flavor, so I bought this Hakuin Masamune as the second bottle of a different type of sake.
I have to admit that I was afraid of buying a sake with a strong umami taste, since it is distributed mainly in my hometown, but this one was quite a good quality sake!
In fact, the umami was not so strong, and the sake was well balanced.
After the launch of the local marathon, I had a toast at home with my juniors 🍻.
We opened a bottle of stock sake 🍶I've been wanting to try it and finally found a bottle of Hakuin Masamune 😊 that was sold in the next town over.
It's classical and has a nice flavor 😋 It's well-balanced 🎵I was tired and soon became very drunk 😳.
Good evening, Mr. King of Noodle Wine 🌛.
Thanks for the marathon 🏃.
The lineup of alcoholic beverages keeps getting better and better 😁.
Make sure your tired body is well hydrated with delicious drinks 🤣.
Good morning, Gyve 😃.
I was working on the reception and couldn't drink much at the venue, so I went home and started drinking early to finish my pitch early 😳The first drink I have ever had makes the drink go down a lot quicker 😉.
My wife wanted to eat sashimi, so we bought this sake together at the supermarket.
It was a sake from a nearby brewery.
It was easy to drink and tasty. I prefer it cold.

After golfing in Susono, we went to Kanichi Sushi in Mishima.
A parade of Shizuoka sake.
First glass of Hakuin Masamune. It is made by Takashima Sake Brewery in Numazu.
I have the impression that most of their sake is dry, but this is a quintessential autumnal sake. It was a delicious sake, not too dry and not too sweet, with a moderate assertiveness. It is a good sake for a meal that goes well with fish.
Beer → Hakuin Masamune → Kaiun → Shitaizumi → Kikusen → white wine at the hotel
Good evening, Duke-san 🦉.
I will be visiting Shizuoka within the year, so I made a note of the Shizuoka sake 🙏The fish looks delicious 😊Local ingredients & local sake are still the best 😊❣️
