It is a dry sake with almost no sweetness, with umami and acidity coming to the fore. It has no strange aftertaste and is refreshing, making it perfect as a food wine. It was delicious with bonito tataki and squid salted with salt.
This sake lived up to the expectations. One of my favorites I’ve had in a while. Enjoyed it with friends who haven’t had much sake before and they all really enjoyed it as well. This is a bottle I would happily get again.
Strong yellowish taste
The aroma is weak and rummy.
The mouthfeel is strong with bitterness and a little sourness.
The aftertaste is dry and crisp with a sour aftertaste.
It goes very well with Magari senbei (rice crackers).
Can be served cold or hot.
