Aroma is robust and strong with a sense of rice.
The mouthfeel is almost sugary, pettiness + sweetness. The spicy and astringent taste that comes soon after is a nice accent.
The savory flavor, which somehow has a crustacean-like feel to it, is also addictive and delicious!

I chose a limited edition sake for the event because I had never had one before. ❗️
The sake rice is Akaban Omachi.
It's written very clearly on the label, so I'm sure it must be 😆.
I don't detect any aroma.

Let's get right to it. The aroma is of rice sweetness with a good amount of graininess (omachi).
In the mouth, the sweetness of the rice comes first, followed by a unique sourness, and then a full umami, followed by a refreshing finish. Is it because of the climate or is it more elegant than when I drank it in Okayama? Is it my imagination?
With sashimi. I knew it would go great with sashimi. ❤️ It brings out the flavor of the fish while also having a hint of sweetness and a smooth finish. It's really good 😍.

It uses its own rice and is available at a reasonable price. It has a well-balanced impression typical of Omachi. While dry, it has a refreshing rice flavor, with a slight muscateliness. This is the best in terms of cost performance. It is delicious.
