Yamada-Nishiki, the king of sake rice, is not polished very much to maximize the flavor of the rice. It was made in 2019, so it has been in the barrel for 5 years. It has been in a barrel for 5 years.
WacchoOpened with a deceptively easy opening 🧑🦲 Muscat type aroma ❓ spreads. The spicy gasiness and moderate sweetness are good 👍It leaves the full-bodied bitterness of Ory and tightens up. Good balance between sweet and bitter and dry. 😋 plum miso guy, fried chicken liver and gizzard, cream cheese, onion slices with baby sardines ◎It also went well with the cinnamon sweet potato to finish 😳.
superbebeFresh aroma of melon🍈.
Light, yet soft mouthfeel.
The aroma makes you think it is sweet, but it is refreshingly dry.
Well-balanced with a touch of acidity
Fruity and quite juicy
Drinking it is like eating a melon with green flesh 🍈.
It's low alcohol with 13 degrees of water, but it's delicious 😄.
Went to a beer festival over the weekend.
I brought home 3 cans of Monkish beer that was bottled less than 30 days ago from California!
Super tasty!
Hops are endlessly fascinating💕💕💕

ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, superbebe😃.
I haven't tried Shichida but I like the fruity dry taste so I would like to try it 😋.
The glass looks like Aladdin's magic lamp 😆 I wonder if I will make any wishes come true when I drink it 🥹.

superbebeGood evening, Jay & Nobby 🌆.
This is my first time drinking Shichida at home.
It tastes like a melon🍈 bite!
Jay & Nobby you have a great imagination 😁.
Aladdin🧞's magic lamp.
They sure look alike 🤔.
やっぱり酒がすきI had a taste of this delicious sake at a restaurant a long time ago, and recently learned that it was available at a local liquor store!
Since then, I have always had it every New Year's.
EugeneIt has been a long time since I last tasted Shichida! I used to think it was a "sweet sake," but this one is unfiltered, raw, and moderately heavy and rough. As I drink more and more sake, I am able to rediscover the goodness of the sake I used to love in my early days. ☺️
ねむちThe 7th Matsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix
Shichida's booth. Mr. Sakaguchi, a sales representative, and the owner of a liquor store I sometimes visit were helping out at the booth.
I wore my Tenzan T-shirt again today, so I stormed in, saying we are a family.
The liquor store owner's face looked tired while he was helping 🤣.
Shichida Junmai Shichibu Hashimai Yamadanishiki Tombaira Polishing Rice.
It has a fruity taste and the acidity comes first. It is beautiful and tasty even at 70%-5%.
Shichida Junmai Ginjo 50 Omachi Unfiltered Raw
Fruity, dark and full-bodied, with a gradually increasing umami and sweetness, it is extremely delicious.
I've been to the Tenzan brewery, so I'm a bit partial to it 😁.
boukenMatsuo Taisha Sake-1 Grand Prix ⑯
Nemuchi-san, wearing Tenzan T-shirt, rushes in 😁.
We drank
Shichida Junmai Shichibu Polishing Yamadanishiki Tonshi-Polishing
Sake meter reading +1.2
More beautiful than the rice polishing ratio, probably because of the flattened and polished rice.
Muscat-like
Shichida Junmai Ginjo 50 Omachi Unfiltered Nama
Polishing ratio 50%, Sake meter value -2
It is delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. I like all the series with this label.

Love the scent! What is this? What's that scent? I can't remember! It's not fruity either!
It's a white wine! Fruity white wine!
Even if you drink it in gulps, it's still a white wine-fruity white wine!
シロタマThe sweetness comes first, and then the acidity finishes it off. It has no aroma or condensation, but it is delicious enough.
I think it tastes better when drunk in small sips.
The bitterness is a little bit at the end, but it is not unpleasant and disappears quickly.
