The last one is Shigusu.
Fresh and sweet with a hint of Kouji.
This is so good!
If it's so good, why isn't it more popular all over Japan?
I don't see it much in Kansai, but in Kyushu, it is sold in many department stores, and according to Mr. Yueh, department stores in Nagasaki are also lined up with it 🤔.
Happy New Year, bouken-san! I sometimes buy Shigemasu because I like it. Gin-no-sato's Shigemasu is fresh and delicious. It has been famous in Fukuoka for a long time.
104th bottle in 2024 for drinking at home
This time of year, I like to drink a variety of nigori sake.
The sweetness and acidity are moderate, easy to drink, and the aroma is good.
Date of production: November 2024
Rice: 100% domestic rice
Polishing ratio 50%.
From the Etiquette
A soft junmai daiginjo nigori sake with a fruity aroma and a light mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness that spreads softly in the mouth.
Before, I wrote that it was like lychee, but also has a rummy feel to it? A refreshing and crisp drink. It is a little bitter, so you can drink it like water.
Today we have the second Shigemasu try!
Last time it was a white wine, and this time?
This time? It seems to have been made with a low-alcoholic taste.
Is it not sweet enough? Watery?
No, no, no. Is it too acidic?
What is this?
A white wine that rejects sweetness?
That's interesting, but then, where are we getting to?
Where will it be?
I think the power of koji is great,
What will we find beyond that?

I forgot to take a picture of the bottle!
I love the taste so much! It makes you want to drink more and more, and the taste lingers. It goes too well with motsu nabe.
It's dry but has a clean aftertaste, so it's good for everyone and goes well with all kinds of food. I want to drink it again!
I want to drink it again!
It has a clean, crisp, dry taste with a light, refreshing aftertaste while fully extracting the umami of the rice.
The dry taste is like a role model. It goes well with well-seasoned dishes and nabe (hot pot).
It can be enjoyed both cold and warmed.
First time drinking.
The first taste was a little lychee-like sweetness. The first saké has a sweetness like lychee, then a sweetness unique to rice, followed by an acidity that finishes the saké. I would like to try it with some of my other sakes.
It has just the right balance of refreshingness and mildness, and the sweetness, acidity, and umami are all easy to drink with a good balance that is not too assertive. It is perfect as a food sake. Preference 7
