It has a moderate ginjo aroma and a dry, crisp taste, making it perfect for a mealtime drink. It is a type of sake that you will never get tired of drinking, and is one that you should always have on hand.
Slightly sweet aroma of fresh rice.
When you drink it, you will be surprised by its strong umami.
The taste is tight.
It has a dry sharpness that is typical of Shigemasu.
3/5 for my favorite.
Kyushu ④
Yesterday, my eldest son's wedding ceremony went off without a hitch, and afterwards, we had dinner with both families in Hakata!
They had prepared some kind of Tsurukame (crane and turtle) tableware to congratulate us.
The restaurant looked nice, though they took it over there.
Shigemasu Daiginjo
First time drinking it!
Clear and soft
A little sweet.
Beautiful and tasty
It was given to me by a relative in Fukuoka. It is refreshingly sweet and tastes like it has the aroma of rice 😊with a Hasami-ware sake cup I bought at a local brewery opening 🍶.

Junmai Daiginjo Natsu ni Yumeuru Yuki (Snow in Summer)
It's been a while since I've had a bottle of Shigemasu. I bought it because of the classical label and the cost-effective price of about 1,500 yen for a junmai daiginjo.
I will drink it cold.
The color is a cloudy misty yellow-white.
The nose is slightly peachy and grain-like.
The mouthfeel is light and limey and minerally, and this, combined with the smooth milkyness of the lees, fades away faintly.
On the palate, the lees are not very assertive, with a light flavor and a slight bitterness that disappears quickly.
A slight aroma of rice that passes through the nose.
The aftertaste is refreshing, with the slight bitterness mellowed by the lees and disappearing quickly.
It is not bitter despite being nigori, but rather mineral and refreshing, which is very interesting.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio:50%.
Alcohol Content:17%.
Nemuchi-san, good evening 🌙
I was curious about this one because of the beautiful name: ☺️ nigori is nigori, but unlike winter nigori, it's more like summer sake 🧐It looks delicious and I'd like to try it if I can find it 😋🎶.
Hi Nemuchi 😃
I thought it was "snow in summer" but it's "dreaming" 😳Summer snow melts like a dream as soon as it's falling 😌🥹.
It's gone quickly and refreshingly clear! That's exactly how I feel about ‼️ 😙.
Hello Kotaro 😊I bought it because of the label and the price for summer nigori 😁I think it is light and refreshing like summer even though it is nigori 😋I hope you will try it if you come across it because it is very cost effective 😆I corrected the name 💦.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😊I didn't look at the name carefully because I bought the jackets & cosmetics 🤣I corrected the name wrong 🤫I'm glad I bought it because it had an interesting flavor, I didn't know there was such a niggle 😋.
This is my first post since moving my base to Fukuoka. Chose this sake to accompany horse meat at home drinking. A sake brewery in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Rice polishing ratio: 65
Alcohol content: 16%.
A refreshing sake with a soft taste.
It has few peculiarities, making it the perfect honjozo for a mid-meal drink.
This is a stable, mellow and gorgeous drink.
Opened a bottle that was brought back cold as a souvenir from Fukuoka.
It is a reasonably priced, gift-giving level sake.
I found out later that it was a limited release of 1,000 bottles.
