among the mountains
As soon as I opened it, I didn't think it tasted very good.
I didn't think
I didn't think it tasted very good and let it sit in the fridge for a while.
I haven't had it in a while.
This is delicious! I'm so glad I didn't forget 😊.
Glad I didn't forget 🍶.
.
Juicy and slightly carbonated with a fruity ginjo aroma.
It is a unique brand in Niigata Prefecture, which is known for its light, dry taste.
It seems that the number of brewing is determined by the number of times the sake is brewed in a given year, making it a fun brand to follow over the course of a year.
I haven't had this in an absurdly long time 🍶.
Very rich mouthfeel🤔.
Sweet and umami at the same time, with a little lingering complexity in the second half 🤔.
It's a great sake that makes you want two or three more cups 😋.
My first outside drinking post in a while. I wasn't that familiar with Yamama, as it doesn't happen to be handled very well at the liquor store near me, but I was under the impression that it was a good, in-order sake 🍶.
There were several brands on the menu, but I ordered this one, partly because the others were brands I've had most of the time.
Since this Niigata sake claims to be "dry," I had imagined it to be a traditional sake with no sweetness and a nice sharp taste, but in a good way, it disappointed my expectations!
The yellow Oni Yamama seems to be a slightly odd brand among the Yamamas, but we enjoyed it very much. ☺️
<Details
It has a muscat-like aroma, fruity sweetness, and tartness, as it is made with No. 6 yeast.
Refreshing, not like something that has been aged in autumn. The spiciness from the umami and alcohol is interestingly intertwined there.
Although it is indeed dry, the fruity aroma and taste, combined with the sharpness, made me end up drinking a lot of it!
Good aroma, but strong acidity? But the umami is strong.
As expected from Yamama, it is delicious.
It has been in the refrigerator for more than half a year, so the taste may change.
100% Takane-nishiki from Niigata Prefecture is used.
The rice used for this sake is called "Nagori Yuki".
The taste is unique to this brewery (Niigata Daiichi Shuzo).
It has a rich sweetness and umami flavor.
It is delicious and just the way I like it!
It is a very limited edition product.
It is a sake that has been aged in ice temperature since 2009.
I brought it home from the restaurant on September 28 and drank it right after I got home. My impression was that it was just delicious and I don't remember much about the aroma...
It had a complex and deep taste.
At home.
As many people in Kansai have been posting about the "Niigata Sake Festival" 😊I thought I'd share with you some Niigata sake that I haven't had 🤗.
I found it at a liquor store in Chiba and brought it to Utsunomiya.
I'll make love to you
The aroma is quite sweet.
The aroma is quite sweet, but when you take a sip, you'll be surprised how sweet it is 😳and how bitter and bitter it is 😚 It's like the dark brown sugar-like sweetness of the Murayu I had about 3 years ago, with some bitterness and a touch of alcohol added.
As I got used to it as I drank more and more, I thought 😊this could be good, but it still didn't speed up my drinking 😅I finished it with a little left over for the day!
I paired it with a nabe (hot pot) on the second day, and yes it was delicious, but still sweet! It was like that 😊.
I was surprised at first 🤔 because I thought Niigata sake = neat and dry 🤔 but we felt the taste of +3 compared to Takashi's No.18 😋.
By the way, last weekend we could only buy a few bottles of sake due to the giku-ruckus 🥲, so on Sunday we went to two nearby liquor stores and restocked about 5 bottles 🍶.
I went home and packed the fridge, but I couldn't shake the feeling of rattle 😑.
It doesn't feel like a J&N family fridge unless you buy a weekend's worth 😆.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
I think the region where the sake is brewed can be an inspiration for the taste 🤣.
The reason why we don't go for Niigata sake in our house is because we have a strong image of light and dry 😅.
I'd like to try this one 😀.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby.
I do have an image of Niigata's light dry sake, but there are still rich sweet sake 🎵.
I will make a firm note of it ✨
I hope your back heals and you get back to your regular fridge 😊.
Jay & Nobby, good evening😄Niigata has a lot to offer 🍶I think of Niigata as Takachiyo🥰 and Murayusuke! But Murayu is hard to find 😭I have to get it locally 🚃 I'm looking forward to Jay & Nobby's weekend blast ❣️
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃I can't have so many strong sweet tastes 😅I had an image of Niigata as being clean and refreshing like Tsururei, but I wonder if they are making it unique among them? It's been a while since I've had one 😋.
Good evening Jay & Nobby💕and happy birthday to your daughter🎊🙌!
Dark sweet bitter, just like a youth Masamune ✨Expect Masamune for this weekend's shopping ❤️
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃.
We too have been tempted to fill the fridge with sake whenever there's a gap lately 😅.
Have a great weekend, Bakubai Masamune 😃😃.
Jay & Nobby Good evening😄I've had Yamama and thought it was a delicious and flavorful sake! And I'd be worried if it wasn't filling up the fridge (lol).
Jay & Nobby.
Good evening...you have a lot of sake space in your fridge🤣it's like a sake cellar👍We have 7 bottles space by stuffing them in, but when we fill it up, we get pissed off because we can't fit 2㍑ of water in it😭.
Jay & Nobby Good evening ^_^.
Yamama is a sake I have never encountered.
I would like to drink it, but it is too bitter here.
I am not good at bitter tasting sake.
I'll be in Chiba next month, so I'd like to stop by a liquor store somewhere 😁.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌙
Dark brown sugar-like sweetness...it was definitely that kind of sweetness 😆 I don't think I detected any bitterness in my own one.... But I thought it might be more interesting to have that sweetness varied 🙄.
Hello, Jay and Nobby!
When I drank it myself, it was very good, but I think I am not good at brown sugar type wines either...;
I can't get over the image of Niigata as a light and dry wine, even when I drink Yamama and Kosumori...
Hi Yasbay 😃.
Yes, it's true! Even we are easily pulled by images 😅It takes us a while to understand the difference between what we think it tastes like and what it actually tastes like 🤔.
Please try this one 👋
Hello dorankdoragon😃
Yes, I'm a fan of Niigata sake! I would like to drink a variety of Niigata sake 🤗Tochigi sake, Niigata sake... there are so many varieties 😅I will continue to enjoy 😅...
Hi ma-ki-😃
It looks like CEL24, the Kochi sake you were drinking! I want to embrace diversity and not be influenced by images 🤗 and I want to remember the feeling of opening the fridge and smiling 🤭😄.
Hi Hina Hana Mama 😃.
Indeed! Takachiyo and Murayusan are sweet and delicious 😊 Thank goodness Utsunomiya is easy to get pretty much anywhere 😊.
We have a Dodgers game this weekend, so I might have a blast if we win 🤗
Hi shinsaku3 😃
I can't get enough of it in my fridge! I haven't experienced the joy of "I can't get enough in the fridge" lately 😅Ganbari Masamune to live up to your expectations ‼️
I'm about to run out of material 💦.
Hi Kojo 😃
Yes, we have a vertical space in the middle of our fridge 👍With the advantage of being a couple 🍶 drinkers, we have a clear PRIORITY of sake over water 😆.
Hi Manta 😃
At first I was a bit "ninga-iii" 😅 but once you understand that this is how it tastes, you can enjoy it 😋I see you're coming to Chiba! May you have a good sake encounter 😌.
Hello freelancer one car man 😃.
Thank you very much 😊Sochira is a fluchie, isn't it? Yes, I think you're right, the image of THE Niigata sake is light and dry 🤗.
Jay & Nobby, first time in the mountains 🎉 & happy birthday to your daughter 🎂🎊 and congratulations on your 555 check-ins 🎉🎊 and even 5 more to go!
Various go-go-go's, next time with the bomb 😆.
Hi Pon-chan 😃
Thank you for all your help😊Quite right Pon-chan! You notice every detail 👍I actually noticed it... but it wasn't Tochigi sake 🍶 😅Secret 🤫Go Go Five 555 😆.
☀️
Sake rice is Niigata-grown Cho-tanrei🌾.
Sweet and sour top-tasting aroma and rich ginjo aroma ☺️
Peachy, thick and sweet with a full-bodied sweetness 😍.
In addition, there is a walnut feeling and a slight astringency in the aftertaste.
Overall sweet and delicious and thick 😊.
It might be an unbearable sake 🍶 for those with a sweet tooth.
Hi Hiro 🐦.
I drank #9 the other day at a drink out and it was delicious and I'd love to drink the others 😊I love the peach🍑feeling and would love to meet you😻
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌙.
It's a Yanmar Nakamar to open the mountains at the same time of year 🤗If it's sweeter than this, it must be for a very sweet tooth ❗️ I'm looking forward to your review 😊.
Hi Pon, good evening 🌙
The mountainous area has the full peach feeling 🍑😆 Is it different depending on the number 🤔If you come across other numbers, please give us a review to compare the drinks 🙏.
