A gem from Maihime brought back from Suwa.
As the name suggests, the sake is polished and clear. The glass was a gift from the neighboring Reijin, a "collaboration" of five Suwa breweries.
To the liquor store.
I'd like to ask the liquor store for a "light, not alcoholic
I asked the liquor shop if there was any sake that was light and
I asked the liquor store what kind of sake
(A store that handles a lot of Nagano sake)
Fruity, but with a moderate aroma.
I had it with cold shabu-shabu.
It was very good. It doesn't interfere with the taste.
It was a delicious treat.
I bought this sake last month when I went on a tour of five Suwa sake breweries. I have already had Masumi, so I chose this bottle to drink at home with sake from other breweries. 🍶.
It has a fresh and crisp aroma and the flavor of Omachi spreads. It is a little sweet, but it is refreshing and clear. It was a good choice for home drinking. 😋😋😋😋😋
Suwa 5 Breweries Tour (1)
Purchase the Suwa 5 Breweries Tour set for 3,000 yen at the tourist information center in Kamisuwa Station. 22 tastings in total are available at the 5 breweries. Includes a drawstring, glass, and sticker mount.
The first brewery, Maihime.
There are 5 tastings. The building is quaint, with an old private house style. The waiter is very kind 😊.
My impression of the sake was Midoro-Omachi.
Peachy sweetness. It is not too strong and refreshing. You can also taste the umami. It had a very rich aroma.
I liked it so much that I bought a bottle before leaving.
Good evening, Hiro-san!
I knew that in the fall, 5 breweries have a "kurabiraki" event, but I didn't know they usually have a set tour of 5 breweries in Suwa 😄 Suwa is indeed a sake brewery.
I'm sure you can get drunk on 22 cups of sake even if it's the size of a boar cup😅.
Good evening, Pon-chan.
If this is helpful, it is worth posting.
By the way, some breweries are closed on certain days of the week, so you should check the website before you go 😆.
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo.
I was not as enthusiastic as at the Kurabiraki festival, but there were some accents such as collecting stamps and stickers from 5 breweries. I recommend it because you can go around slowly 😆.
Hands-on travel to Kyunjyun
Sake tasting set at Nagano station.
The guess is boiled horse's intestines.
Check in at Suirou, the most favorite on behalf of
Suiro Junmai Ginjyo Genshu Yamae Nishiki Alps Yeast 720ml
Ingredient rice Yamae-Nishiki
Polishing ratio 59
Alcohol 17%.
Since the bottle of Kangiku was finished, we opened a bottle of Junmai Ginjo that we purchased at the brewery in November.
I had an image that it would be more smooth, but it has a rather robust flavor.
It tastes better at a slightly higher temperature.
This year's Risshun morning pressing is Midori-no-mizu. It is a very tasty sake with a gorgeous aroma, a clean throat, and a flavor that spreads on the tongue.
This time it is Suiroku, a sake from Suwa, Nagano Prefecture.
This was the first sake I encountered while out drinking.
On the way home from the restaurant, this newly opened sake caught my ear and I couldn't help but raise my hand 😆.
The aroma is faintly fresh and green apple-like.
The mild mouthfeel is refreshing and light, with a sweet and sour taste.
It is not too light, but has a good umami flavor and a light, crisp bitterness in the second half of the bottle. It is a stable sake with a light, fruity Miyamanishiki-like flavor and just the right amount of umami, making it easy to pair with food!
It has a taste that is sure to be popular. I just don't know about it?
We went to Ryunokura in Minamimorimachi, Osaka, which was recommended to us by a friend of ours on the Hyakurugakumon brewery tour.
It was a cozy place to have a lunchtime drink, and the lineup was quite good.
All the sakes, including Tamitsu, Sotenden, and Suirou, were freshly squeezed and fruity, but had a pleasant taste with a cohesive and stable umami flavor. It was great!
I feel at home in a restaurant where I can drink with this kind of snacks 😊.
We were introduced to a good store loved by regular customers, and it was a sake-affiliated Mutsuki.
Hi Hirupeko 😃
Mr. Suirou! I'm curious about this one: ☺️
Hirupeko's description of the flavor really sticks with me and makes me want to drink it 😋We don't drink out much so I'll use it as a reference for the next sake I buy 🤗.
Hi Jay & Nobby. I'm not a Nagano sake drinker at all, so I didn't know if Suiro was famous or not, but it was delicious, so it was worth waiting a little longer for the next waiting customer to drink it 😁.
