Maihime's Midori Nigori Nama Sake Suwa's active nigori nama-shu following Kireiban! As it is called "Aragoshi Nama Sake", it has a rough taste. Brewed by Maihime Shuzo in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture Suiro Junmai Ginjyo Genshu Yamae Nishiki Alps Yeast Brewing! Yamae Nishiki is a variety of rice certified as suitable for sake brewing in Nagano Prefecture in 2017. It is said to be made with a more focused flavor. The yeast used is Alps Yeast developed by Nagano Prefecture. When I drank it, I thought, hmmm! Nice! Gorgeous and juicy fruity aroma. Full and mellow with a slight bitterness! Well balanced!

One of the five Suwa sake breweries that use water from the Kirigamine Mountains in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. Purchased at the Keikyu tasting fair. I was allowed to try almost all the varieties and bought this one, the most standard one. Drinking it chilled, the dryness of the sake is enhanced and it is perfect for a cool summer evening drink. Waiting for the freshness of the ginjo-shu. It has the freshness of a ginjo-shu, but with the robustness of a junmai (pure rice). The cost of 1518 yen for a 720ml bottle is outstanding. It is also a great value for money at 1,518 yen for 720ml. It will keep you coming back for more 🤪.

Today, I bought the second bottle of Midoriji, Kanazawa yeast brewing "K14". "It has a gorgeous aroma and a sweet taste. When it goes down the throat, a modest sourness and a richness appear at the same time.

It's Friday, so I went to Shin-Yokohama Bic Camera to look for some new sake when I got home. We got two kinds of sake from Nagano called "Suirou". We started with the "Karakuchi". When I tasted it raw, the pungency rose up sharply, but it didn't sting, and it went down my throat well. I guess the water is good, they use the subsoil water of Kirigamine highland.
