Iwate sake party!
The second cup is Tsuki no Rin.
In contrast to the first cup of Akabu, this one is clean and dry, and the flavor spreads more as it warms up, making it perfect for a mid-meal drink. We paired it with juicy gyoza (dumplings), but it would also go well with autumnal delicacies such as taro stew and Pacific saury.
I came to the Hanamaki Festival with my two daughters. Summer has gradually quieted down. After visiting the festival stalls, we put the children to bed and had a glass of locally brewed sake, which was the main purpose of the trip.
It's a refreshing drink without being heavy. This is good stuff!
