Aroma: Lactic acidity such as cottage cheese, fruits such as apples and pears, granulated sugar
Taste: The sweetness of rice comes in the first attack, but the strength of the original sake soon appears and remains on the tongue for a while.
Lactic acidic aroma, strong flavor, goes well with cheese!
I drank it for the first time.
Clear and label-less.
It's a cool drink.
Good for an aperitif.
Perfect with chawanmushi steamed egg custard with sansho (Japanese pepper) on top.
Perfect with chawanmushi steamed egg custard with red bean paste ✌️
A limited time product for the winter season.
This sake is not fruity, but has an aroma of rice and a sweetness that is very appealing. It is a quintessential Niigata sake.
There is also Sasaland, but I think I prefer this one because it is easier to drink.
Hot sake, the mouthfeel is alcoholic but mild and refreshing, with a long aftertaste of sake.
It is light, but has a full-bodied, mellow taste, and is moderately delicious.
Three Sake from Niigata in a row

We had this sake to go with hegi soba (buckwheat noodles). We also had assorted tempura of mushrooms from Niigata and it was a light, slightly dry and refreshing sake.

Sasasande - I'm still in the sasandei. A trophy of the Niigata expedition. Surprisingly, it tastes like a summer sake with a strong acidity. It is said to be made from 100% Kame-no-o with a 65% rice polishing ratio. I wonder if anyone can guess the type of rice by the masking. Someday I would like to say, "Oh, this is Omachi"...
Purchased at Ponshukan. It has a cute design that does not look like a cup of sake. The sake is brewed with four varieties of rice produced by four farmers in the Nishigama district, located in the far west of Niigata Prefecture. So that's what the grains of rice on the label mean. That makes sense. The sake was served cold in the cold sake corner at the store, so I chilled it well at home. It has a well-balanced taste, not too sweet or dry. It is easy to drink and delicious. Niigata's cup sake has a huge variety and high quality.
Purchased at a liquor store found on the way to Niigata for swimming.
It was made with rice grown by four farmers in the Nishiura area.
It was the first time I tasted the yogurt feeling.
I recommend it👍
This sake is aged in bottles in the cold storage of the brewery before shipping.
It has a delicious full-bodied and sweet taste 😊.
It's April and it's been terribly hot these past few days.
Today's main dish is pork shabu-shabu, which is an infusion of plenty of vegetables for the body fattened by sake consumption.
Side dishes are curry and bread with lots of butter.
