Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Report 11📝.
Next, I found a place where you can compare Niigata's sake at the refreshment booth 👀.
It was 1,500 yen for 3 bottles, so I tried some brands that are a bit expensive and I don't drink at home very often.
The first bottle was Sasashuku's Shukubuki Yellow Label.
I looked it up and found that there are five kinds of Shukubuki, and the yellow label says it is multi-acidic.
It is indeed an adult lemon squash with a little more acidity.
It was just the right flavor to reset my palate after drinking so much.
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee😃.
There was a hi-iru version of this sake sold at Azuma Tsuru 😊.
I was curious because I had a feeling it was a weird sake because it said it had -15 sake and strong acidity 🤣.
Good morning bouken-san ☀︎
Yes, you are right, putting such a maniacal sake in the bottle 👍.
It wasn't as sour as I thought it would be, but to the average person, it would be a perverted sake lol.
Second bottle this year
Delicious at room temperature to lukewarm.
Sasashuku Sake Brewery in Niigata is fun because they serve a wide variety of sake! This is my favorite brewery!
A cool way to stop by and enjoy a hot spring: ♨️
Take just a sip!
It's delicious with the aroma of cedar barrels!
It's a bit heavy at the beginning of the New Year, but I feel a little better.
Thank you all for your continued support this year. 🙇♂️
Rice! The aroma is full, with a masculine sake-like flavor. I drank it at room temperature, but it seems to expand further when warmed. The light umami flavor spreads in the mouth. It is surprisingly crisp and easy to drink.
We'll take it well before returning to Tokyo from a trip home 🙏.
Lightly from Junmai sake 🎵
Blueberry? A slightly sour aroma like 🫐.
The sourness is as impressive as the aroma ✨.
A little bitterness in the aftertaste ☺.
I thought it had a strong rice smell and was a bit habitual, but after about a month in the refrigerator after opening the bottle, it seemed to have freshened up a bit. I think it would be delicious if it were heated, but I drink it cold.
Purchased at an antenna store in Niigata Prefecture, it is a brand with 90% local consumption.
As the name "Candy Classico" suggests, it is about as sweet as kijoshu, more caramel-like than fruity, but surprisingly not too tiring to drink. 🙆♂️
They added sake to rice and rice koji to get this flavor. It is a dessert sake 🍰.
