It has an elegant aroma of rice, a moderate sweetness, and a clean aftertaste.
I was very satisfied with the careful workmanship. I enjoyed it with sashimi.
I am now interested in this sake brewery. I would like to try other sake as well.
Purchased at a sake store in Nakatsugawa, Gifu
You can expect a light and dry taste!
Watery mouthfeel and tingling sensation on the tongue.
It's a bit more mild than you'd expect. It's a bit dry and light, but it's not too bad!
It also has a fruity taste, which makes it feel like a ginjo-shu.
The aftertaste is a bit rusty, like after drinking mineral water.
Definitely a sake to be chilled!
I bought this sake because it was introduced in a magazine and I found it at a local liquor store. The taste is more harmonious after 2 days (I'm drinking it now) than when the bottle was first opened. The harmony of the flavor and rice flavor is good.
Thank you for your comment, Jay & Nobii... I see... it's not a brewery we see so much of here. I see you are from Tochigi! There are a lot of good sake in Tochigi too! I have Ona Super Dry Sake and Umakatta!
Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka㉒
Sanzenzori in Karakuchi
We drank
Sanzenzori Junmai Daiginjo
Polishing ratio 45%, Miyamanishiki, Sake meter value +12
It is quite dry at +12, but I have had only +18 or so in the past, so it was not very hot! However, the past ones I've had were all +18 or so, so it wasn't really hot.
I wonder if dry, dry sake with a high sake content is the essence of Sanzenmori.
Sanzenzori Junmai Daiginjo Koshu
Polishing ratio 45% Miyamanishiki Sake meter value +12
This is a 13-year-old version of the first one we drank, since it was made in 2013. It has an aroma of maturity, but it's not that strong, and the taste is beautiful, probably because it's a junmai daiginjo.
