The gold label uses yamadanishiki. It has apple and pear smell. Also fruity flavor like pineapple, melon, apple and pear while drinking. Very sweet and smooth while with strong umami. Good to drink at 5-10 degrees celsius. Great match with appetizers, white fish or dish with ponzu sauce.

The black label uses yamadanishiki and sake mirai. It comes with a smell of apple and white peach, very sweet and smooth. The umami becomes more prominent as it gets warmer, great match with variety of food, including fatty or oily fish.

The red label uses yamadanishiki and aiyama. Relatively dry with strong flavor of alcohol. The flavor gets stronger as the temperature goes up, nice match with food with heavy flavor or sauce.

A bubbly champagne like sake with apple and pear smell. A sweet sake with taste of apple, and a hint of cottage cheese kicks in as the temperature of the sake gets warmer. Also with umami and strong after taste. It is also very smooth. Great surprise!

A hint of wooden flavor when first opened, followed by raisin flavors. Sweet, with dried fruits and flower taste. The alcohol taste and umami is relatively strong. Only 1,000 production per year with 7% polishing.

Another sake with 7% polishing. A bit of wooden aroma when first opened, followed with flower aroma. Sweet and aromatic sake with mango and pineapple flavor. Smooth and the umami is very strong, also the after taste is strong. Only 1,000 production each year, and the bottle design differs every year as an art piece.

The first and only sake in the world achieving 0.85% polishing. A hint of grapes and bubble gum as the first impression. A sweet sake with flavors of rice and mango. Extremely smooth with slight umami. Only 999 bottles produced per year and each bottle requires 221 days of polishing! Interesting and precious but lacks a bit of character.

First time trying the famous Zankyo. Very aromatic with flavours of tropical fruits, especially peaches and passion fruit. Sweet with pineapple and mango palate, smooth but not much umami. As it gets warmer, the fruit flavor is even stronger. A great experience!

This sakemirai smells like pear and rice, and tastes like yellow peach, pear with a hint of flower. It is very smooth and sweet, easy to drink and good to drink alone or pair with dried fruits. It should be a popular choice for most sake drinkers.

This sake used 3 types of Koji (yellow, white and black) and 3 types of yeast. It is bubbly yet with a strong smell of apple, yogurt and mushroom. The taste is both dry and sweet. Good for matching with salad or appetizers. Very complex flavor, interesting but might not be suitable for sake beginners.

Typical aroma sake with apple, pear and flower aroma, very silky texture. Match perfectly with sashimi. Recommend to drink while chilled, and when it becomes room temperature, the fruity flavour becomes stronger with thicker texture. Suitable to both beginner and advanced sake lovers.

The sake used barrel and No.9 Yeast, with very rich barrel, soy sauce and yogurt aroma. When chilled, there is cheese, mineral and apple flavor with bubbly texture and quite sour. When it is of room temperature, there is soy sauce flavor with obvious umami and strong aftertaste. Complex and surprising sake, worth the value. Suitable to drink pre-meal and with meal with sashimi or strong flavored food.
