Today, on the way home from work, I went to the corner at Third Place
This is the first time I have seen this rice wine,..,
Tasake Junmai Ginjo Watabune No.2
This is a rare item, only one bottle was available at this store,
Last year we had Benkei, and this year we had this one!
It has a melon-like aroma reminiscent of the gorgeous Yamadanishiki, but it has a rich, round flavor that extends from there,
I have been drinking a lot of light sake lately, but this one was also delicious!
Rice polishing ratio: 50% (100% Watafune No. 2 grapes from Aomori Prefecture are used)
Alcohol content: 16%.
Today is a day with a 6, so we had this at Third Place!
No.6 A-Type
We had this at the Shinsei event last month, and we wanted to drink it because it was also our favorite A-Type!
It is released on June 6 every year, and this year's bottle has a 66% milled rice ratio. The metallic red bottle design this year makes you imagine the near future.
When I drank it, the gorgeous aroma and lingering sweetness were superb! I would like to drink it again!
Rice polishing ratio: 66% (100% Akita-produced Koudou Shinko used)
Alcohol content: 13%.
Opening a bottle of "New Moon", a fresh new sake from Nabeshima, a favorite of mine.
It has a fresh and gassy new sake flavor with a gorgeous tropical fruit aroma, and a beautiful taste with fresh acidity and umami that expands as you sip!
It was my first time to drink Yuyamanishiki sake rice, but it was a great new Nabeshima sake with a great taste!
Rice polishing ratio: 50% (100% Yuyamanishiki)
Alcohol content: 16%.
