This bottle was given to us at Fratello di Mikuni, where we stayed during our summer trip to Hokkaido. I kept it carefully refrigerated and matched it with oden in winter. The taste is rather sweet, aromatic, and robust, with a smooth finish. I think it goes well with Japanese food.

I ordered this bottle at a local sushi restaurant. It had a light aroma and taste, but if I had to give it a compliment, I would say that it didn't interfere with the food. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. It was not for me, unfortunately.

Fudo Daiginjo-nama sake, which was a gift. Although it was alkalo-sweetened, it was a very delicious sake. It has an aroma, but it is not harsh and has a sharpness, so it goes well with food. For me, Nabe-shop is a sake store that I trust, so I can drink it with peace of mind.

This is the second bottle of limited edition sake I purchased from Watanabe Sahei Shoten in Nikko, Tochigi. It was too hot in the summer and all I drank was beer, so I kept it chilled in the fridge. Sold only in Tochigi prefecture! And it's delicious too, but I can't tell the difference from the "Yume Sasara" I drank before (crying). I left too much time in between and couldn't tell...

Limited edition sake purchased at Watanabe Sahei Shoten in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. The store was an old and austere store attached to a sake brewery. Because it is a limited edition sake, they only distribute it within Tochigi prefecture. It is a precious sake! And it is delicious! It may be the best sake I have ever tasted. It is sweet in the mouth, but after that, it cuts through. It seems to go well with any meal. I might buy it again while it is available by mail order.

This junmai sake is made with a low rice polishing ratio, but with a slow fermentation process at a low temperature to express the full flavor of the rice. The acidic taste makes it a perfect match for Japanese cuisine as well as meat dishes. It is excellent when heated. I thought it was so-so. I think I like "Yawaraka" better.

Made with Gohyakumangoku rice grown under contract in Shakai-cho and Yachimachi City, this junmai sake is brewed using only rice and rice malt with groundwater as the brewing water. It is a mellow sake with a full-bodied, robust flavor that makes the most of the rice's natural flavor components. This was delicious!

We drank it at the Kubota Afternoon Tea held at Nishikisui Ryotei at Hotel Chinzanso. There were three kinds of Kubota: Senju Ginjo-Nama Nama Sake, Manju, and Manju with its own yeast. Of the three, the in-house yeast brewed sake had an outstanding taste and aroma. It was a pity that I could drink only a little of them since it was a sake comparison.

I bought this winter raw around the same time last year. When I go to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple for the first time, I usually buy something from the nabe store, but I always end up buying seasonal sake. I have a weakness for limited editions. I've been taken for a ride. It is a little sweet but rather refreshing and slightly carbonated. It is a sake that goes well with meals.

It's the "Densho Chrysanthemum Red" (limited edition for some retailers) that I bought earlier this year and have been saving for a long time. As soon as I took off the plastic part wrapped around the lid, the cork popped out with a "pop! The bottle popped out. I had cooled it down and opened it gently! I was so surprised. Fortunately, the contents didn't come out, but I don't know how much air pressure there was in the bottle. The taste was delicious! It is slightly cloudy and slightly carbonated, but a little thick. It is a little sweet, but surprisingly sharp, with a sweet and sour aroma that quickly escapes into the nose. Isn't this 2,035 yen too cheap? If you find it at a liquor store, it is a "buy"!

This is a draft sake that I purchased at the Nabe Branch Narita Exhibition. I was scared to open the bottle thinking it might be fizzing, but it was totally fine. It wasn't fizzy at all. Why did I think it was fizzy? Well, the taste is sweet and refreshing. The taste is what Hime likes. I prefer a little more sharpness, but this is delicious.

I bought this 2001 Ginjo Koshu at a pot store in front of the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple gate. My wife had tasted it and enjoyed it, so I decided to give it a try and was right. It had a brandy-like aroma and a thick brown liquid that went down my throat and gave me an indescribable taste. I like a crisp sake, but this is the best for sipping slowly and savoring. It is delicious!
