It's the "Densho Chrysanthemum Red" (limited edition for some retailers) that I bought earlier this year and have been saving for a long time. As soon as I took off the plastic part wrapped around the lid, the cork popped out with a "pop! The bottle popped out. I had cooled it down and opened it gently! I was so surprised. Fortunately, the contents didn't come out, but I don't know how much air pressure there was in the bottle. The taste was delicious! It is slightly cloudy and slightly carbonated, but a little thick. It is a little sweet, but surprisingly sharp, with a sweet and sour aroma that quickly escapes into the nose. Isn't this 2,035 yen too cheap? If you find it at a liquor store, it is a "buy"!

This is a draft sake that I purchased at the Nabe Branch Narita Exhibition. I was scared to open the bottle thinking it might be fizzing, but it was totally fine. It wasn't fizzy at all. Why did I think it was fizzy? Well, the taste is sweet and refreshing. The taste is what Hime likes. I prefer a little more sharpness, but this is delicious.

I bought this 2001 Ginjo Koshu at a pot store in front of the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple gate. My wife had tasted it and enjoyed it, so I decided to give it a try and was right. It had a brandy-like aroma and a thick brown liquid that went down my throat and gave me an indescribable taste. I like a crisp sake, but this is the best for sipping slowly and savoring. It is delicious!

Iinuma Honke's Sake Nouveau. This year, I made a reservation and had it delivered to my house, but the minimum purchase was set at two bottles. But that's okay, because it tastes so good. Purchased at Shimaya in Mitsuwadai, Chiba City. It is a limited edition product. It was hard to find a store that carries Kangiku Meikozo sake, so I finally found it here. My impression is that it is a full-bodied, aromatic, and delicious sake, but a little sweet. I thought it was a sake to be enjoyed alone rather than with a meal.

We had it on Mother's Day with a lunch box from "Warabi-no-Sato". It was sweet yet smooth, with a delicious rice flavor and a refreshing aroma. This was a delicious sake! I would like to buy it again as it is available at my local supermarket.

It would not interfere with food, but it was difficult to evaluate because it did not make a statement either. Personally, I prefer more aromatic sakes, so I don't think I would repurchase it.

Birthday celebration at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel's Sushi Restaurant, Saeiki. This sake has a rich, slightly sweet taste. It is a sake that conveys the deliciousness of rice. It may be a little hard to drink during a meal, but I thought it was delicious to enjoy as a sake.

I bought it at "Mutoya" in Sendai Station. I was told that it was a limited edition sake only available here, and I am so glad I bought it! The owner told me "It's a delicious sake that doesn't disturb your meal", and he was so right. It was delicious! You can't find this anywhere, including mail order. If I ever go to Sendai, I will definitely buy this sake!
