Dewazakura after a long time. This is a dish in which the flavor of the rice can be felt. It is not spectacular, but it is a delicious and well-prepared dish.
As the label on the back says, it has a mild flavor...no sharp edges. There is a ginjo aroma in the mouth, but that's about it. It's just not my kind of sake.
It may be easy for sake beginners to taste.
Went to my usual liquor store.
I wonder if the Sukoshi lineup has changed. There's a lot of rice wine....
Is it 1,200 yen? Polishing ratio 70...Junmai, so there must be no mistake.... I went and bought it, and I was right. It is not as polished as a ginjo, so it lacks the flamboyance, but it has a delicious flavor instead. Considering the price, it's too good! Definitely the crown jewel of Tasake!
We bought it not at our usual neighborhood liquor store, but at our friend, Yamaya. It is said to have won a gold medal at the Wineglass Tasty Sake Awards. But we will drink it with a sake cup.
Slightly effervescent, sweet but with a clean aftertaste. The umami is a little bit more subdued. I see, it looks like it would be great in a wine glass 🤣.
The neighborhood sake store is small and not well stocked, with Yamamoto-san, Otters, and Tasake as its three mainstays.
Tonight, I quickly decided to try this one.
The aroma is gorgeous on the nose, the taste is soft, and it goes away quickly, just like the sadness of cherry blossoms (lol).
This is Yamamoto-san's third bottle, and he will have the standard pure black.
It is just as described in the concept on the back of this bottle. The aroma is only faintly noticeable after swallowing, and the taste is clean and sharp. I usually drink only aromatic sake, so this is delicious.
I took advantage of the phrase "limited edition, available only now. I got the only bottle left.
It's not because of that, but it's also very delicious.
The aroma is a little too hacky, but it gives me that feeling. The taste is sweet, as the +2 sake level indicates, and leaves a slight aftertaste on the tongue. Since it is a raw sake, it may take on a different appearance as the days pass.
This was the first time I had ever tasted sake brewed with Kame no O rice, and I am thankful for the days when I can drink such delicious sake.
In the mood for sake since New Year's, I went to my usual liquor store.
I was torn between Tasake and Yamamoto, and reached for the second type of Yamamoto.
When I looked it up again, I realized that the black one is the standard item (sweat).
This one is sweet, which I like, but it goes down easy, but leaves a good aftertaste. It's the kind that makes you drink too much. It's delicious!
On my way home from an outing, I suddenly felt like eating sushi.
However, my family wanted to go home. I had no choice but to settle for a pack of sushi from the supermarket.
...No, wait. Sake is the best drink for sushi. I'm sorry, but I drank it all last night.
That's why we had to get some sake. I wanted a four-pack, but there was a 300 ml bottle of Niyu, a local sake brewed in Chiba, for a quick drink. And it's Junmai Ginjo.
I had no choice but to buy it. And it's only 500 yen.
I realized once again that this is one of the better breweries in Chiba.
It is dry on the palate, but leaves a lingering aftertaste of rice flavor. I enjoyed drinking it again tonight.
The barcode is Ochantei.
It was the first one from Yamamoto Shuzo.
Sunset Orange is a limited product that I came up with while watching the sunset.
The taste is so complex that I can't describe it well.
When you take a sip of it, the petite texture, flavor, and sourness all come together at once, and the aroma goes away (lol).
It was sold at a bargain price at Donki in my neighborhood, 698 yen, because there was too much sake for restaurants.
It's a Junmai Daiginjo, so I tried it as a trial.
Well, it is dry. I could feel a hint of ginjo-shu, but I won't repeat it😆.
