It's a Manasaku no Hana (Manasaku Flower) unpasteurized sake with a sake strength of +15. Before drinking it, I tried to imagine the taste, but I couldn't do it well. I couldn't imagine the rich rice flavor disappearing so quickly. When I actually drank it, the robust rice flavor of the "super limited" mansaku flowers spread to my mouth, and the aftertaste was gone before I could feel any regret. It was the first time for me to experience the feeling of all the sticky flavor disappearing from my mouth, and it made me realize that it was different from the sake that people call "dry" because of its thin taste. I think it goes well with tempura and oily dishes. It is an outstanding sake with a delicious flavor that can stand up to any dish, and a sharpness that washes away all traces of flavor.

It is about 2300 yen without tax. This price is surprising for a mountain waste. And it is difficult to describe how it tastes after drinking it. It's too uncharacteristic in a good way. There are a lot of sake at this price that has a sharp character hidden behind the costumes. A bitterness that numbens the tongue, an alcoholic odour that stinks to the nose, a rice flavour that is too characteristic, a sweetness that feels like fruit wine, and so on. This sake has none of those sharp edges. It has no sharp edges to it, but it has a refreshing mouthfeel, a scent that could be described as impersonal, and a light deliciousness that is harmonious with all of these elements, without the smell of alcohol. I tilted my head and reviewed the label. I wondered if it was Yamahai. When it's lukewarm, it becomes even more mellow. As I'm writing this comment, I've already forgotten what it tastes like. Tomorrow, I may forget the fact that I drank it.

There is a slight pungency and bitterness in the aftertaste, but this is one of the advantages of drinking it with a meal. I thought it was a bit pricey at 3,700 yen excluding tax, but the spirit of the producer on the label on the back made me decide to buy it.

頂き物。居酒屋の粗悪品しか知らなかったため良いイメージが無かったが、蔵元で1500円程度で購入したという夏酒を飲んだら男山の印象が変わった。旨い酒は旨い。ふくよかな味わいが口に含む時間ずっと続き、飲み込んだら男山然としたキレが後味を流す。涼しげな瓶と相まってこれぞ夏酒と主張された。男山の印象がガラリと変わる良い酒だった。

あまりに濃厚。澱がうっすらと濁りを出している。味は透き通った甘酒を飲んでいるかのよう。旨味と甘味が渾然一体となって口の中に広がる。アルコール臭さが少なく、尖った辛味もない。この後にフルーティな日本酒を飲んでみたが味がわからなかった。他の日本酒を呑むなら肴と呑む順番を考えなければならない。ただ、旨いのでこれ一本で満足する。

圧倒的な果実感。香りから始まり口に含んでも損なわれない果実の瑞々しさと甘さ。生原酒なのでアルコール感を警戒しながら嚥下しても余韻まで旨味がぎっしり、アルコール臭さはない。ただただ上品な甘さに驚くばかり。なお、限定販売のようでどこでも買えるわけではない。

薄い琥珀色。香りはアルコールの中に微かに果実が混じっている。口に含むと柔らかい舌触りにバランスの良い旨味と香りが口の中に広がる。飲み口が心地よいため生酛であることがわからない。生酛は熱燗にして飲みたいと思うことが多い中、これは冷やで飲みたいと思う。爽やかな余韻の最後、喉元を過ぎたくらいで生酛をアピールしてくるから困る。

口に含むと微かな果実の香りがあるものの、まろやかすぎて一瞬味が見えてこない。徐々に甘さと旨味が顔を出し、酸味が追いかけてくる。甘さも旨味も酸味もバランス良く調和していて、飲み込んでもアルコール臭さがあまりない。だらだらと長時間飲み続けるには最高の酒。今回購入したのは熟成されたもので、同銘柄では味が乗っているほう。店頭でテキトーに買うともう少し薄味かもしれない。

亀の尾の旨味が最初から最後まで続く。果実よりも米の旨味が意識される。苦味が少なく円やかで飲みやすい。嚥下した後に少し苦味が残る。常温が一番良い飲み方な気がする。
