Only 120 bottles of "Gokumi Ichidrop", which was released as new sake last November, were fire-aged and stored in the cellar in Ryusendo until this September.
The temperature in Ryuusendo is kept at a constant 10 degrees Celsius throughout the year, so the sake can mature in a stable environment without direct sunlight, which can deteriorate sake.
The taste is also a sensation I have never encountered before. The alcohol content is a strong 17.8 degrees. It is mellow but has a sharpness. I felt it went well with cheese and meat dishes.

The Junmai Ginjo-shu Autumn Agari was safely taken out of Ryuusendo on September 7, and after one summer, it has matured mellowly and has a clear, transparent taste.

Yesterday, I attended a celebration party.
I brought a bottle of Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Daiginjo.
Actually, it was the first time for me to drink this brand, so I asked President Yaegashi Yoshikichiro to confirm the taste before serving it to everyone.
It is a light and delicious taste. It has a soft sweetness and umami flavor that spreads in the mouth and is especially good with sashimi and vinegared dishes.
Everyone was pleased with the sake, as it is a local sake that they don't often have a chance to drink.

When I returned home and was about to take a bath, my wife was searching Netflix and suddenly started laughing.
I asked her, "What? She pointed at me and said, "This is stupid, but it makes me laugh.
Hell's Garden."
The story is about a conflict between factions of office workers at a company and a girl who gets caught up in it.
The office workers of the faction are dressed as "yankee" and they are in a battle with each other!

The pink label and the name Yaezakura gave me an image of a soft sake, but when I drank it, my first impression was that it was a strong sake, with a robust flavor. It also has a sweetness in the front and a good amount of fruit aroma.

Last night, I attended a general meeting and reception of an industry organization.
I asked the secretariat to provide me with a bottle of "Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Daiginjyo Yuzunokou," which won the first prize at the Iwate Prefecture New Sake Competition in 2023.
The sake won first place over Nanbu Bijin and Akabu, two of Iwate Prefecture's twin peaks at the time.

Today was cloudy according to the weather forecast, but it was cold in the northern coastal area of Iwate Prefecture with light rain all day and a high temperature of 13 degrees Celsius.

Well, yesterday I attended a welcome party for a public organization in a neighboring town.

And I offered a new junmai ginjo from Izumikin Shuzo, which I found at Gin no Sake Kibune.
There is a rumor that I brought it because I wanted to drink it myself.
I asked Mr. Yoshikichiro Yaegashi, the president of Izumikin Shuzo, about it, and he said that he had indeed drunk it, so I took a sip while pouring it for everyone.
