A carefully selected drink from the three recommended by the staff 👏.
Chilli tongue and slightly carbonated.
Sweet and sour deliciousness! Delicious!
I had two onigiri for entrée....and some salmon and cod roe, but I didn't get a picture,...,
Rice on rice, rice on rice...a tour de force. No wonder I was so hungry 😋.
At Sumiyoshi Sake Shop in Hakata
I bought it because it was recommended in a video.
I was impressed by the banana aroma when I smelled it at a nearby liquor store,
But this one was not like that, it was beautiful and tasty!
It was a good sake.
I learned a lot.
I had the impression that it was Niigata sharp and clean, but without acidity? It was a new sensation 😊.
Gagakuyo ~Gekka~ Nama Shu
Nama-zake's typical aroma and mango-y fruity flavor.
The mouthfeel is sweeter than usual Garakudai? But in the middle, it becomes dry and refreshing as usual! (Maybe it's calmer rather than fresher!)
The alcohol content is 12.5 degrees Celsius.
The rice used is "Koshitanrei" produced on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture.
Modern light, sweet and sour.
Personally, I have the impression that it is a cutting-edge sake.
It is delicious to the highest level.
Purchased at Tenryohai Sake Brewery during a trip to Sado Island. Sake limited to Sado Island. It has a strong acidity and a fruity aroma that spreads the moment you drink it. As time goes by, the fruity acidity spreads throughout the body with a characteristic sake flavor. ⭐️3.8
Not gorgeous, but elegant sweetness and a little bit of umami, muscat, and rummy aroma.
There is a little bit of acidity and bitterness at the back of the nose, but it is hard to feel unless you are conscious of it.
There is a roughness on the tongue.
From the peak of the initial strength of the flavor, the rest of the aroma falls off nicely. It is more like a stand-alone wine than a fire-brewed one!
This is my third Gagakuyo. It was recommended to me at my usual liquor store. The conclusion is that it is extremely delicious! The alcohol content may be low at 12.5, but it has a gentle sweetness and a slight effervescence, and I can drink it very easily without any sticking points. I would buy it again.
