Gorgeous ginjo aroma. It has a clean, light and beautiful sweetness. Although it is jungin, the taste is so beautiful that you would think it is daiginjo. Is it because it is made by hanging it in a bag? It is delicious, but maybe too elegant. It would have been better if it had a little more umami.

It is brewed by a young brewer who used to work at Kuroryu. From this season, the responsible brewing will be separated from the regular products and will be available only to special distributors. This sake is limited to two liquor stores, one in Sakai and the other in Kishiwada. Only 12 bottles are in stock, so the next time I come back, there won't be any left, so I was allowed to try a special sample before purchasing. It has a rather gorgeous ginjo aroma. It has a low alcohol content and is sweet with a gentle taste. It is low in alcohol, but you can feel the fullness of the flavor. It has no gaseous feeling, but it is fresh. It can be used by itself or with food. Shimada Special is delicious no matter what you drink.

It had been a while since I had been to the old Sakai Lighthouse, so I went there because the weather was good. On the way back, I dropped in at the Sen no Rikyu warehouse. I bought a bottle of hiyaoroshi and a liqueur. The hiyaoroshi was delicious, with a delicious sweetness of Aizan without any cloying taste. It was more matured than the freshly pressed Aizan, and the sweetness was not dull, so be careful not to drink too much.

Tasted at a sake festival. The taste was clean and refreshing. It was thin and a little watery rather than light. Seems to go well with strong dishes. I would choose it as a souvenir, but I would not choose it for drinking at home. It seems to be a new brewery in Sakai, where I spent my school days, so I hope to see it grow up again!

Sen no Rikyu Special Junmai 60 Gomi Karakuchi 1650 yen (4-pack bottle) As the newest sake brewery in Osaka, we expected a modern sake. There were no good sake under 1500 yen including tax, so we selected a sake from Osaka. I was OK with the price of 1,500 yen without tax.... The mouthfeel was spicy, with a sharp taste that went straight to the nose, just like the subtitle. With cheap sake, it stays in your head and gives you a hangover, but with this sake, the sweetness of the rice is fully brought out, and the spiciness of the spiciness goes away. It's not a "shwashy" type of sake, but a legitimate sake! If possible, I would have liked to pair this sake with sashimi.

Purchased on recommendation Yamadanishiki 50% Bespoke Unfiltered Nama Sake (Limited to three liquor stores in Sakai City) The aroma is similar to that of cedar. Not flowery, but tree-like. And after a little time, it turns fruity. It's rich, but... but it disappears forever. I know there are similar labels on the market. But this one is limited and only sold in three stores. I see what you mean... the taste is amazing!

Opened May 20, 2022 Rikyukura, Sakai, Osaka Purchased after tasting at the directly-managed store in front of Sakaihigashi Station Puchi puchi 🌟(≧∇≦) Sweet like juice ^ ^ white grape🍇. And the bitterness of the raw sake! Faint lees and lees-like aroma too ^ ^. It seems to be a new brewery and quite modern! This will sell well.

Purchased at Senriku, which I visited on the middle day of a consecutive holiday. Since it is a commemorative sake for the World Heritage registration, it is a sake that is sometimes seen as a souvenir, but it is also good to buy it at the brewery. The illustrations on the label are cute, depicting not only the kotodama and haniwa (clay figurines) buried in the burial mounds, but also a bird called a shrike and the Sakai Lighthouse. The Mozu burial mounds are located in Sakai City, and the Furuichi burial mounds are scattered in Fujiidera City and Habikino City, so it is not possible to put one burial mound county on top of the other, so the haniwa illustrations are well balanced. In the illustration, there is a bird of Sakai City, "Momozu" (legend has it that the bird is Emperor Nintoku and the name of the place), and a symbol of Sakai, "Sakai Lighthouse" (a nationally designated cultural property), which was built in the Meiji period, which is a symbol of the city of Sakai. It looked as if it was whispering cutely, "It's Sakai's sake! The sake tastes robust and reminds us of its grand and long history, but the label gives us a sense of cuteness. It's sake from Sakai~."

2022/5/2 During GW, I went to a brewery near Sakai Station and purchased "Usu-nigori" and "Hyakudori, Furuichi Kofunshu Special Junmai", of which only a few were left. I enjoyed the chilled "Usu-Nigori" for three days.

Purchased on pre-order at a nearby liquor store. A small sake brewery near the Nintoku Emperor's Mausoleum in Sakai City, where the "Mozu and Furuichi Kofun Tumulus Group" has been registered as a World Heritage Site. I have had the chance to drink Senrikyu several times since it is a local sake, but this is the first time for me to try Aizan 100%. Aizan's mild flavor is delicious. The sweetness was pleasant without being unpleasant. I could easily drink it by itself. The fourth photo was taken at Daisen Park to see the last weeping cherry tree and the front of Emperor Nintoku's mausoleum.
