A new sake brewery in Kochi Prefecture. With an aroma reminiscent of pineapple and a robust flavor and acidity, this sake is easy to pair with meals. The tangy nuance on the tongue is also nice. You will want to drink it while savoring it in a slow moment. Delicious!
It has a nice aroma with a gentle apple-like acidity and a round sweet peach-like flavor 😆.
The mouthfeel is soft and firm and sizzling!
The taste starts with sourness first, then fruity and rounded sweetness? The taste starts with sourness, then fruity and rounded sweetness, and it finishes with a light sweetness, but the slight sourness and light sweetness that remains on the tip of the tongue is very pineapple-like.
At first I was attracted by the unique name and label, but it is a delicious sake with strong characteristics 😆.
I'd like to try other types if I come across them ✨.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I feel like the second day has more depth and a clearer aftertaste 🍍? I'm sure it's delicious ✨
It's delicious and if you see it, please do 😳
The naming is strange, but still, I can't seem to remember it, Junmai Daiginjo Karara Karara, clouds in the mountains.
A sake brewery that seems to have many other unusual names.
The label is also distinctive, so I was more conscious of it than the taste, and I don't remember the taste well.
I think it might have been "Karara Karara". 💦.
With a very large fried chicken.

He said it's been a while since he opened it.
Slightly peachy? Round and sweet aroma.
Soft texture.
Sourness and umami come later.
It goes well with charcoal-grilled duck and yuzu kosho.
It is the 19th brewery in Kochi Prefecture and was started by a former Kameizumi sake brewer. A nearby liquor store started selling it, so I bought some. There are four kinds of sake: three are jun-dai and one is tokubetsu junmai. I chose this one 😅 thinking that the special junmai is the guideline of the brewery's taste, right? I chose this one 😅.
It has a light taste. After a slight sweetness, it has a fresh acidity that makes it easy to drink. It is easy to drink without any aftertaste. I dare to compare it to a wine.
It was quite tasty 👍Thank you 😄
The brand's only special junmai sake.
A wine-like sake with a muscat aroma and delaware flavor that overturns the image of traditional Japanese sake and local sake. It is full of fruity flavors and should be enjoyed well chilled.
The name [zaaguzaagu] expresses the sound of the cold wind blowing through the surface after a snowfall, which is heard from the feet stepping into the frozen snow surface.
Next, too, are clouds in the mountains of Kawasawa Sake Brewery 😊.
Another unusual name for this one ✨.
The taste is a light drink with a strong fruity aroma and a nice sharpness ✨.
This is another delicious sake 😁.
Next up are clouds on the mountains of Kawasawa Sake Brewery✨
A very uniquely named sake✨.
This is also made with Super CEL24, a member of the CEL24 family 😊.
So it's a fruity sweet delicious sake 😁.
Delicious ✨
Good morning, Kano!
You have been drinking a lot this time too: ⤴️
I learned about Little CEL24 from your previous post, Mr. Cloud in the Mountains. I see you also have Super CEL24 sake 😲.
I suddenly want to drink it someday 😋.
Hi ma-ki-, ✨Yes! I drank quite a bit this time too... or rather, I drank my way through all the sake from the breweries that were served at the event 😁.
March 1,2,8,9 is "Tosa no Okyaku" and I joined in right away ✨.
I got a craft beer and some yakitori (no beer photo), and while I was wandering around the venue, I found a sake booth 😆.
I immediately had some 😆 ☝️
First up was a sake from a recently established brewery with a unique name✨.
When you drink it, the aroma is sweet, the sake feeling is light and easy to drink 😊.
It's a delicious sake 😆.
Ingredient rice: 100% Hyogo Yamadanishiki special grade
Polishing: 50%.
Yeast: Little CEL
Alcohol: 15%.
Fire-brewing
There were 18 sake breweries in Kochi Prefecture, but this Kawazawa Sake Brewery is the 19th that opened last year.
This is a gift from a friend in Kochi Prefecture.
My friend had given me Kameizumi Cell 24 as a gift before and I was impressed by its taste, so pineapple sake is right in the middle of my taste buds.
Incidentally, Kawazawa Shuzo, the company that released this "Clouds in the Mountains" is a new sake brewery established by the former president of Kameizumi! Moreover, "Zaa Zaa Zaa" is said to have a mild taste with the character of Kochi Prefecture yeast CELL24.
As expected of my friends, they always send me sake that tickles my fancy!
She said, "It is fire-brewed, but you should drink it chilled! So I put it in the refrigerator and opened the bottle on the second day.
It's a little CELL, but it has a solid fruit aroma, sweet juicy banana to slight acidity. I like it fiercely!
My friend wants me to drink it in another week! They said.
I don't know why I have to leave it behind when it's so good. ...... I'll try my best not to drink it all.
I'm also curious about the other "Clouds in the Mountains" brand, "Go'ou Go'ou", which has a stronger CELL character.
Kochi sake breweries, awesome!
Good evening, Momoko 😃.
Kawasawa Sake Brewery's sake is intoxicating ☺️
I'm also interested in L.CEL-24 and would love to try it in the future 🤤.
You are a great sake friend to even warn us about the taste opening changes 😊.
Good evening, Aladdin.
I appreciate my friends who send me good sake from Kochi.
Kameizumi and Kaygetsu's CELL24 are well known, so they are useful when I tell them my preference (pineapple type). If you have a chance, please do not hesitate to contact me!
Good evening, Momoko-san!
CELL24 turned my impression of Kochi sake upside down, so I'm very curious about Little CELL too 🎵.
I see that it is a sake that can change its taste and still taste good after a week 😲.
I'd like to try it sometime 😊.
Good morning, ma-ki-.
I am always excited by CELL, which has turned the impression of Kochi's light, dry wine upside down.
I would like to taste a week after Little CELL first, and then I would like to drink Super CELL someday.
Added on 2.21.2025
When I drank it a week later, the aroma was mellow. The sweetness as well as the acidity is still there, but the impression is clearer. Both are delicious! I love it!
This wine is always delicious! I concluded.
Buy at Sake Bars
Sake Mine is a famous upscale sake bar in Fukuoka.
Since they were certified to sell sake at the time of the Corona disaster, they also have a liquor store aspect to their business!
Sake Bar Sake Mine has Tagaji, Koshiho, Sankan, Kaorucho, Usu, Setoichi, etc., which are rarely seen in the prefecture!
Last week, Kawazawa Shuzo, a sake brewery established last year in Kochi, started selling "Yama ni Kumo ga Yama" (Clouds in the Mountains)!
They are the first distributor outside of Kochi Prefecture!
Cold sake
Apple-like aroma 🍎.
Slightly gassy
The taste is full of sweetness and acidity like apples and pineapples.
However, it may not be as rich and voluptuous as Kameizumi or Kaygetsu's cel24.
The sharpness and lingering taste are moderate.
The owner told me that the toji of Kawazawa Brewery was the former toji of Kameizumi Brewery, which brews Kameizumi.
Gohyakumangoku version. I like it because it has a stronger flavor than Yamadanishiki! The aroma is good, and the sweetness is followed by a clean and crisp aftertaste!
