This sake is interesting!
Muddy when shaken, sweet and delicious when drunk!
It is completely different from "Summer Memories" and
It is completely different from the other varieties of this brewery, such as "Memories of Summer" and "Ineimankai"!
Really interesting!
It's like a bottle that embodies the wide range of expression of sake. ⁉️
The aroma is reminiscent of medicinal herbal sweetness.
The sweetness is felt on the tip of the tongue and goes straight down the throat, leaving a fluffy sweetness.
It is exactly as if a witty dessert has appeared.
Somehow, I was in the mood for something a little different to drink. Ine Mankai is a bit pricey at izakaya (Japanese style pubs), so I did not drink much of it. I bought it at a sake shop.
It has a characteristic sourness, so I don't feel like I'm drinking sake. I wondered if the sourness would come out if it was made with old rice, or if Himiko had grown this black rice, and my imagination was filled with the changes and evolution of sake. I admire Mr. Mukai for trying to differentiate his sake without leaning on the sake of today.
I wanted to try Ine Mankai. I found it at a liquor store in Osaka Station during a business trip to Osaka.
Rather than fruity, it was quite sweet and tasted like sweet wine. It tasted better on the rocks.
Variations.
It has an astringent aroma, like vanilla essence.
Yes, it is a sweet and sour syrup.
The aroma is somewhat like the aftertaste of natto (fermented soybeans).
It also has some berries and rum raisins.
The acidity is citrusy.
Various flavors are present.
The taste is surprisingly cohesive, with little clutter.
Surprisingly good. It's a good drink.
Ine Mangaka Nigori Nama Sake
A rather peculiar sake from the package with a milling ratio of 97%, made from ancient rice called purple-black rice.
The color, pink like cherry blossoms in full bloom, is very impressive!
It had a refreshing acidity and a mild sweetness.
I visited Mukai Sake Brewery and got this during my trip to Amanohashidate area during Golden Week. I bought it when I had lunch at Ine and saw the person next to me drinking it with relish. It is made from ancient rice and has a unique color, taste, and aroma 🍶 At first I thought it had a strong habit and wondered what it was, but after drinking it on the rocks or with soda, I began to enjoy its habit. The aroma and taste are reminiscent of the syrup you get when you catch a cold. I forgot to try it hot, so I will try it when I have a chance.
