I picked up Eiko's Nigori at a souvenir shop near Dogo Onsen. I was delighted with it, and I realized the warehouse was a short walk away, so I went. Through my little Japanese, I expressed my enjoyment and desire to try something special. They recommended Fresh Green, a limited yearly release. It was a delightful sake! Light and crisp with a lovely gentle sweetness. A perfect touch of acidity. Everyone I shared this with at the guest house was enjoying it, from sake lovers to new drinkers.

I say this on a shelf of a souvenir shop near Dogo Onsen. it caught my eye since I was in the mood for a nigori, and the way this looked while separated made it seem thick. As a bonus, it's from just down the street. Wow this sake is thick. There is a lot of mouth feel from the rice particles, but in a pleasant way. It is very creamy. The sweetness isn't too strong and didn't linger. A heavy feeling easy to drink nigori. paired well with the salt and iyokan peel chocolate too.

forgetting to record At the kiosk in the Ehime office. There was only one bottle left in the fridge. leftover blessing? I bought it. I thought I would enjoy it slowly But I drank it so fast and easy. The dry taste and the cold mouthfeel I was addicted to the pot! I'm going to Ehime next time I'm in Ehime on business. Even if it's only for a short time I'd be happy to meet new people I'll be happy to meet someone new. I've been kind of busy lately I've been a bit restless. Drinking alcohol softens my mind.
