[Returning to [the home of the heart] (1)
Today and tomorrow, I'm going on a trip by myself, asking my family to take me to Onomichi, the hometown of my heart, which I haven't been to in two years.
I left Shin-Osaka station just in time to take a picture of the "Hello Kitei Shinkansen", but I couldn't take a picture because of a delay in the connection.
I was so hungry that I dared to have a lunchtime drink in Fukuyama City for the first time this time.
We started the day with Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (squid tempura) and beer at Ajisai, which is open even during late lunch hours 🔔.
We quickly tried to shift to sake, but the store's lineup included
Hakkaisan
Tenpoichi
Tenpouichi
There were three in a row!
I ordered a glass of sake in the local style, and the waiter told me it was "Tenpoichi", so I went with "Tenpoichi Honjozo" 🤣.
Tenpoichi (cup sake at room temperature)
The aroma has a slightly refreshing impression of alky sake, the mouthfeel is soft and fluffy, the flavor is sweet, and it finishes gently with a long, lingering aftertaste.
The image is cleaner than the local "Kansai" (😋)
The entrée is Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with squid tempura, just like in this region.
The sweet Otafuku sauce and squid tempura go perfectly with the okonomiyaki!

The fourth one is the former [Maeda Sake Shop] and once again [Sake Sho Yamada], a stopover when you come to Fukuyama City.
Not far from Fukuyama Station, you can buy sake from Hiroshima and other parts of Japan✨.

Gyve, you are an early sake terrorist 😆👍👍.
I've never had okonomiyaki and sake together so I'd like to try it 😁 I'm wowed to see Tenpoichi in a cup of sake 😁❣️
I'm looking forward to more after this 😊.
