This sake was given to us by a visitor to Kobayashi Sake Brewery in Niigata, which is famous for its signature Akita dog.
It is slightly sweet and has a subtle rice flavor, and although it was made in December 2010, it does not have an aged feel and is refreshing and easy to drink.
It has a slight peach and lactic acid flavor.
I think it is one of the most delicious alcoholic sake.
The sake we received.
When drunk cold, it comes in refreshingly clear, and as it gets to room temperature, the bitterness comes out a little more. I like it this way, but I think I preferred it cold.
It was delicious. I really appreciate receiving sake as a souvenir.
100% Gohyakumangoku. 16% Sake. I bought it at Kane-shin in Uonuma. It was unusually easy to tell that it was Ihyakumangoku right after drinking it, so I guess it is classified as dry and light, but it has a fruity and umami taste in the dryness. It is rich and has a nice aftertaste, which I like very much! This is a winner. Kaneshin-san's recommendation is great! Thank you, Kaneshin-san!
Ummmmm....that's a shame!
It seems fruity at first, but I think it has a spicy aftertaste...
But it's spicy, but there's no sweetness doorstep... strange!
The high alcohol content of 19 degrees does not give the impression of a high alcohol content, and it has a different appeal from the Kochi Prefecture sake "Kurei" that we drank yesterday.
Today is Labor Thanksgiving Day.
When I came home from work, there were abura-age (deep-fried tofu) from Tochio on the table.
This makes me happy😊.
Speaking of Tochio, sake is either "Koshinoketora" or "Koshinotsuru"👍.
The other day, I got this Honjozo Unfiltered Nama Sake from "Koshinotsuru" on my way back to Niigata Prefecture.
I am sure there are many ways to taste Tochio's abura-age, but my basic way is to grill it and simply serve it with ginger and soy sauce.
My family uses "Koshinomurasaki" soy sauce from Setadaya in Nagaoka City.
I like to drink Tochio's deep-fried tofu with a sake cup like a teacup or a teacup without any pretense 😌.
