After work, I stopped by the sake department of the Shinjuku Keio Department Store.
The Junmai Ginjo prototype of Sado's Tenryohai was being promoted as if it was making its first appearance in Tokyo, and I immediately grabbed it without hesitation.
The slight fizzy sensation was followed by a discreet pineapple 🍍.
I think I could see the will to improve the quality and achieve elegant sake brewing results without being too showy.
Tenryohai is a sake that I am very interested in seeing evolve among Niigata sake.
Sake from Sado Island🍶Tenryo sake.
It's a little bit bitter with a bit of 🍊mikan.
The sweet caramelized taste is very elegant.
It's like adding 🍊Mikan🍊, 🍊Strawberry🍓, and 🍌Banana🍌 and dividing by 3 😄.
I'd like to match it with appetizers 🍶.
First taste of Kijoshu
I had an image of it being sweet and rich, but it was different; it was more acidic and not as sweet as I expected. It is mellow but refreshing.
I think I'll get addicted to it.
The label is cool ❗
It is not as fruity and light as Gagakuyo, but it is a beautiful sake with melon-like sweet acidity and a good gasiness and sharpness 🍷.
First time drinking Garakudai's Spring Sake
It's like a light and refreshing Niigata sake.
Personally, I prefer the low-alcohol Garakudai Hiyori.
It goes perfectly with steamed meat buns.
