First time drinking Garakudai's Spring Sake
It's like a light and refreshing Niigata sake.
Personally, I prefer the low-alcohol Garakudai Hiyori.
It goes perfectly with steamed meat buns.

This is one of my favorite drinks I've ever had.
Purchased by mail order and served with spicy lotus root as a snack.
First of all, it has a strong fruit-like aroma, which is typical of daiginjos. It smells like ripe bananas or pears.
The taste also has a fruity sweetness, but it is not sweet at all, and while it has a robust flavor, it is very easy to drink, with none of the tanginess that I dislike when it goes down the throat.
The production is limited to 2,000 bottles per year.

It has more acidity than I expected, but the mouthfeel is quite mild. It has a strange and delicious feeling that it disappears without a hitch even though it is a bit of a dry sake.
I have the impression that it is better suited for drinking after a meal than after the second glass.
Sakegawa recently recommended Abe, which we do not have on hand. Tenryohai Sake Brewery in Sado was also severely damaged by the earthquake. Drink and support!
Masayo is famous, but here is Ponshukan original from Nagaoka Station! Low in alcohol, but with a mild sweetness and umami of rice. The first sip was delicious, and I paired it with a seafood hot pot, which was a perfect match. It was a perfect match! The sake rice is Koshitanrei, Niigata Prefecture's most trusted rice variety.

I bought this at Okuhiroya when I picked up the Tachiharu Asashibori at Gohashi.
I was going to buy Masayo, but I decided to buy Tenryo sake Shiboritate, which I had been curious about for a long time 😁.
When I opened the bottle, it made a nice popping sound. It has a thick, sweet and spicy taste with a gaseous sensation. The sweetness is moderate and the umami is strong. It is a little dry and mineral. It has a mysterious atmosphere that is both modern and classic.
It also has a citrusy atmosphere, and the acidity is quite strong.
I think the sweetness is more robust after the wine has been out of gas for about 5 days after opening.

It is served cold with sashimi. When the bottle is opened, the first thing you notice is the chocolate-like aroma.
At first, I thought it would be sweet, which I don't like, but I didn't feel much sweetness on the tip of my tongue. As I drank more, the taste became more refreshing.
The liquor store I bought it from a few years ago didn't carry it, but I got a tip that 2023 Ouroboros was being sold, so I got it by mail order! 🍶
When I drank it before, I remember it was like a rich chocolate, like a brandy, and I was shocked by it (˶ ~̫ -̫ ~˵˵).
