On my way home from another good week, I found this at my usual Ekina supermarket.
The supernatant is sweet, thick, and mellow. When the lees are added to it...what a flavor this is...it leaves a lingering feeling on the tongue.
I drank it on an empty stomach, and soon became intoxicated 🌀.
Junmai Nama Shiboritate from Koshino Katora. The brown and black label without makeup is nice. It looks good on the label.
It is dry but has a hint of sweetness because it is freshly pressed. I got it from the fridge, but I have a feeling it will blossom at room temperature or warmed.
I wanted to go to Niigata this year, but it's already snowing, so I'll have to wait until next year.
It's the season of Keitora Ryu Nama Sake again this year. This is a special winter-only product.
In this day and age, a bottle of sky blue Ryu is priced at a whopping 2,000 yen, and even though I have my eyes on other sake, I end up reaching for it and buying it even if my refrigerator is empty. It's too cheap! And a tasty one! Thank goodness!
Gorgeous, fruity aroma of young bananas,
Clean and dry, yet fresh and light.
Fresh and light,
Full flavor and soft sweet and sour taste,
It is delicious and has a sharp mouthfeel!
You can easily drink too much!

It's a gift from a friend, and it's hot from the first sip.‼️ I don't drink much of this type of sake, so I'm a little confused. I'm not a fan of heated sake, so I take it at room temperature. I can't drink it hot, so I take it at room temperature. I enjoy it slowly.
The aroma is subdued yet gorgeous.
Slightly sweet on the palate, with an immediate spiciness and acidity. The aftertaste is pungent and slightly sweet, but light,
