Today we opened a bottle of "Tsuki no Rin", a gift from Iwate! It is the same white malted rice type as the previous "Tsuchida". Since it is a good opportunity, let's compare and enjoy 👍.
When opened and poured, it has a soft, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of custard cream.
The mouthfeel is soft and refreshing. The acidity is refreshing and present, like citrus fruits.
Although it loses out to Tsuchida in terms of umami, the clear sake quality, light acidity, and sharpness make for a pleasant taste!
And it has a crisp & petite aftertaste like a spodori. It is a good taste for sipping in the coming season!
And today I went shopping and got my first bottle of "Jyushidai", which I had longed for.
The excitement of carefully going to a sake store to get it is on a different level than encountering it at a restaurant...!
Thank you, Pon!
I've been going to the liquor store for about a year and a half and finally got to see the real thing and I'm nothing but impressed 😭
I will make sure to leave a note so that I don't lose myself in the excitement...!
The top clear layer tastes rich and mellow like melon, and when mixed, the rice flavor comes to the fore, with sweetness, bitterness, and a bit of acidity in the back.
I got it on a trip to Iwate last month! I'll be back with Nambu ironware, which I also bought as a souvenir👍.
When you open the bottle and pour it, you can smell the robust aroma of rice. The aroma is as rich as freshly cooked rice from a rice cooker.
The mouthfeel is soft and mellow. The taste is comparable to the "Yukikko" we drank on our trip to Iwate, but this one gives the impression of being more pungent and tangy.
It has a moist, sweet and delicious taste like cotton candy or wasanbon. It has a good balance of spicy and spicy, and fades out at the end, leaving a spicy, chili-like taste on the tongue. It has a rich yet clean taste and is much easier to drink than it looks ✨.
If you think it is more austere, you will just be enveloped by the soft gentleness of the tailings!
It's a delicious taste that betrays your imagination in a good way 😋.
It's been a while since I've had a doshy mouthfeel.
I've been craving a fresh gas feeling lately, so I thought this could be it.
I'm not sure if I'll drink it again! I bought a book on sake today, so I'll be looking for my favorite and drinking it!
The fourth drink. The general started peeling off a bottle that was wrapped in newspaper and sharing it with us, saying it was a tasting. I had never heard of Iwate before. I understood that this was the owner's hometown and that was why he had Akabu. The first sip was a little blurry because it was also at room temperature, but after cooling it down a little with ice, it became delicious.
The sweetness spreads out as soon as you drink it, and it is delicious.
However, it has a clean aftertaste, but there is a slight residual sweetness.
It is tasty, but I don't think I will repeat it.

Attended a sake party at Tsuki no Rin. Held at izakaya Riisan 😊.
The nose has a slight, subdued sweetness. The sweetness of the rice is easy to drink, as is typical of Junmai Daiginjyo, with a hint of bitterness and acidity at the end. It is very easy to drink on its own. Delicious 😋.
I had it with mekabu, wakame seaweed, nabana dashi and sashimi (tuna, octopus, sea bream). Oh my goodness. It does not interfere with the ingredients, but has a sense of unity that makes the sake go further 🤤I personally think it would have gone better with sea bream or octopus: ☺️
Sorry, I was too drunk to post the rest. I was too drunk to post the rest (lol).
The last part of the event was closed by the Nanbu Touji 😉.
Overall very satisfied😍.
