Sake from Sugita Sake Brewery, which produces Yuto Masamune in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture🍶.
This is my first time to drink sake from this brewery.
The nose has a hint of acidity.
In the mouth, the sake has a refreshing acidity typical of a sake brewer with a sake strength of +11, and a hint of sweetness and umami from the rice.
Many of the sake made from the traditional sake yeast are rather rich and mellow, but this is a refreshing and crisp sake.

I think that you went to this Ooki tree, which is quite a rare place. The person responsible for its production is a classmate of mine, and I am happy to hear that it was delicious, too.

Strong and can be served warm or on the rocks.
Today is the first time for me to try omiki. It is refreshing and easy to drink. The alcohol content is quite high, and it has a sharpness. It is a good cosmetic sake, and, well, it's a good choice. I guess it's more like a fish.
When you roll it around in your mouth, you can feel the spiciness and the tangy taste, but when you swallow it, it disappears completely, leaving only the umami taste.
Last night we went to "Toast Festa with Tochigi Local Sake" in Utsunomiya ❗️
In addition to Ars, who drank at the Kenmin Kai, Nanoha, Higu, and Kotori, who were certified as Tochigi Prefecture residents at Sake-no-wa and connected with me on LINE, were also there, so I told them on LINE about Jay's outfit and we all met up without incident😊It was our first meeting, but as usual we hit it off in seconds😆Enjoyed drinking and chatting! We had a great time drinking and chatting!
We had Senkori, Houou Mita, and a variety of Tochigi sake 🍶, but Nobby wanted to try the sake from Sugita Shuzo, which is owned by a classmate of Bousuke's. This was his first time drinking Oki-san's sake! I thought it would be dark-colored and heavy, but it was delicious with a nice aroma and acidity. ❗️
It is indeed a Tochigi sake 🤗I enjoyed all of them 😋.
Then we parted ways with Ars and Kotori and had an after-party with Higu and Nanoha at an izakaya (Japanese style bar) 🎵.
We had a delicious and fun time drinking Oshinshu, Eikofuji, Jigokin, Jyushidai, etc. 🥳!

This is the most unexpected of the year!
It seems to be a sake made with an unusual rice called "strong".
I thought it would be strong because it is made from 75-percent polished rice, but I personally thought it had a refreshing aroma, exquisite flavor and acidity, and good sake brewing skills!
The aroma is of wood and malted rice with a slightly peculiar astringency.
There is also a slight coolness, like that of hacca and mint.
On the palate, it has a sweet sugar water, compact rice flour, and umami.
The assertiveness is slight, and after a scale that seems to disappear, bitterness and spiciness gradually appear and rise.
The lingering umami slowly fades out, leaving a nutty sweetness.
At best, it is a food sake that is not too assertive.
At worst, it is a small sake with a small scale.
It seems to be a sake for different tastes.
If you don't think about it too much, it's a good enough sake!
