Myoko Shuzo, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.
Junmai Ginjo-shu made from Joetsu-produced sake rice, Mizuhono-shine, which was created in 2011.
It has a strong, gentle aroma of rice and a light, refreshing taste that is typical of Niigata.
A cup of sake from Joetsu at home after work.
It's a gentle Niigata light and dry 🍶 that you can tell it's soft water.
It's a nice cup of sake that goes down easy. 🙆♂️
Myokozan Unfiltered direct kumi-junmai ginjo nama-genshu 17-18% 60% 720ml 1804 yen
The body is solid and dry with a sharp taste. It is a masculine directly pumped raw sake and has a powerful flavor.
It has a grape-like fruitiness that women might like, and the flavor is full and delicious.
It is my first time drinking it, but I quite like the taste.
The brewery uses soft Myoko-sen (Mt. Myoko) water from the basement of their factory.
Myoko, but there is also a brand called "Echigo Oyaji," which all breweries have for local old men who like to drink.

I liked it at a tasting and bought it.
When I got home, I drank it on the rocks, but it tasted bitter because of the ice, and it was delicious when I drank it straight.
I thought it was quite profound.
Purchased at a tasting.
The brewer said it would be better to drink it cold or warm than cold.
I put it in the fridge for now, so I drank it cold today, but it turned out to be very strange.
I warmed it up with my hand and it was mellow and nice (laugh).
