I went to buy some today and found this sake from Aomori, a new to me sake brewery. It's labeled "Sake Brewery Manryu" limited brew. The pop-up label at the store said it was a medium-bodied sake, but it was more on the dry side, and the alcohol content was 13%, so it was light. It is easy to drink and refreshing. Delicious!

I've had the cute labels for spring and summer, but this will be my first autumn sake.

The top aroma is slightly sweet.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a slight sweetness and a mild umami.
Unlike the label, it is dry with a clean aftertaste.
Many of the cute labels of Jyokuro are sweet, so this was a bit unexpected, but it was delicious.

I know it's November and the new sake hasn't been released yet, but please stop by the Hakutsuru factory in the middle of Hachinohe where you can sample the new sake 😊.
It is rather spicy, but not too much.
It is delicious with just the right amount of tangy aroma on the nose.
It's a bit spicy, so it's good with okaki or other snacks.
Oden is also surprisingly good.

🍶You can see 🌰 in the illustration and add it to the chestnut label series. Heating it up after chilling it or bringing it to room temperature gives it a sinking taste that cannot be turned back to lower temperatures anymore.
