I found a sake I had never seen before at Takimoto, so I bought this one from among several varieties they had.
There were very few bubbles in the glass. But there was no gassy feeling.
The initial aroma was of rice and a trace of melon. It has a graininess and a trace of sweetness and spiciness. It's more refreshing than I expected. Maybe it is the type that is better served warmed?
The bitterness and astringency seem to stay in the mouth for a long time.
I think it's better to drink it a little later than when it's fresh out of the fridge.
It's basically dry, but not the type I don't like.
It's great with food.
It is easier to drink after a few days as the bitterness becomes less pronounced.
I thought it was more like a classic, as Kotori wrote in her review.
I was a little worried 😅I didn't try heating it up for a few days to find out what the bitter and astringent taste on the palate was... but I guess it's possible if it's a food sake 🤗.
Hello Kotori 😃
The one I bought didn't have the date on it either 🙄 so it's a mystery if that's the policy or they forgot to print it 🤔.
In the end I didn't try heating it up either 😅
Personal preference 3.5/5
Rice: Asahi, grown in Okayama Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio 55

Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol.15,16
🚢Three-day ferry trip 🚢.
The 4th and 5th shrine is
Bicchu-no-kuni Ichinomiya Kibitsu Shrine
Bizen Province Ichinomiya Kibitsuhiko Shrine
Both shrines are dedicated to the model of Momotaro.
These two shrines are about 10 minutes away from each other by car, but they are both the first shrine of different countries.
This time, we had a bottle of Kibi sake to soak up the memories!
Sankan-san's unfiltered unpasteurized sake!
The color is not so much, and the aroma is a little bit on the nose!
The taste was a heavy type 🍶.
Although it says it is unfiltered unpasteurized sake, I think it is better to drink it with a strong flavorful side dish.
So I had it with yakitori (grilled chicken).
It goes well with yakitori! Thank you for the drink!
Good evening, Ofuji.
I didn't know these two are the first shrines of different countries 😳I only visited Kibitsu shrine 😢I want to visit both next time I go to Okayama and drink this sake too 😁.
Good evening, Ponchan 🌛.
Yes, that's right! Long time ago, there was one in Kibi Province - you've been there 😊I gave up on the fortune-telling of the cauldron because I didn't have time 💦Takimoto-san sells it ✌️
I was attracted to the label, which is retro but with a slightly retro new touch.
Butterbur. Tomatoes. Potherb mustard. Cucumber, some kind of vegetable rich, green flavor?
Dry flavor.
Alcohol is still powerful.
The taste is of the type that makes you want to boil fish.
I wonder if it is the aroma of mellow rice.... You can feel the grain. Gentle sweetness and refreshing spiciness spreads. It tastes more like a classic. It also has umami.

It was in the cold storage of a restaurant where we had a standing drink in Nagoya the day before!
Three crowns that the neighbor was drinking.
I found it, so let's drink it this time.
Heavy dry taste!
It was a comparison of Omachi!

I got this triple crown 👑❣️ last month on a trip to Kurashiki.
As a small boy who loved reading Mr. Shinji Mizushima's "Abusan", it was one I really wanted to try 😂.
It's a Junmai Daiginjo from Omachi, so it's a bit pricey, but it's as good as I expected it to be: ❣️
It's refreshing, but it also has the umami of Omachi, with a well-balanced sweetness and spiciness 😊.
It's a good thing they call themselves the "Triple Crown" 👍.
It went well with the pickled makari we also bought in Kurashiki 🤤.
Speaking of the Triple Crown, I hear that Kondo of the Hawks is in a position to aim for the Triple Crown this year, following Murakami last year 🫢.
I'm not a Hawks fan, but I really hope he achieves the feat. ⚾️
Hi Hissan, good evening. I've just been drinking San Kwan - I'm chipping away at the aged 🍶 It's delicious 😋 I envy you pairing it with Mamakari and Okayama souvenirs.
Good evening, Hissan 😃.
I've been a Hawks fan since the Nankai era and loved Abu-san 😍I didn't know about this sake because I wasn't interested in sake at the time I was reading 😅I thought it was the sake Hirupeko-san was drinking 🤣.
Good evening, Hirupeco-san!
Hirupeko-san, you also drank the Triple Crown ⚾️
It's not well known in Japan, but it's a delicious sake that doesn't lose its name 😋.
I'd like to try the aged version too 🤤.
Good evening, Rafa!
I too loved reading this while being numbed by the spray of sake.
I also remember the hard sloping stands of the Osaka stadium I went to as a child 😌.
I tasted the Triple Crown while thinking about that too ✨.
Hi Hitto😊
Abu-san, I miss you✨I remember reading about you as a child. It reminds me of Osaka ballpark😊.
Okayama sake is delicious and I would like to drink it ❣️
Good evening, Pon 😊.
Abu-san is a masterpiece ✨
I remember the time when it was a ballpark while walking around Namba Parks.
This San Kwan is indeed the authentic Omachi sake, and it was as good as I expected 😆.
This time, it's San Kwan. Sake from Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture.
At Urara in Tanba, which I visited for a summer assignment to obtain Taisho no Tsuru,
Get Taisho's cranes without incident,
I was wondering if I should try another bottle of San-in Sake. I was wondering if I should try another San-in sake, and one of the staff recommended me to try Okayama sake. I was wondering if I should try another bottle of San-in region sake, and this was one of the sake recommended to me.
At room temperature.
Pale yellow in color.
Mild aroma of maturity.
The slightly sweet bitter aroma wafting from the back is beautiful and enchanting.
The mouthfeel is slightly thickened.
The caramel-like bitter aroma that quietly wafts into the nose when you take a sip is irresistible.
The body is light, and the overall taste is bitter.
The sweetness is like lightly burnt cotton candy, and the soft, full-bodied flavor is delicious.
It is of course delicious when heated! The sweet, full-bodied flavor can be tasted lightly. It's a warmed sake!
Sake that has finally developed a taste this year!
The taste is not the concentrated richness of aged sake, but rather just a fluffy sweetness.
The soft sweetness, rather than the concentrated richness of aged sake, is just right for the beginning of fall and keeps the cups flowing.
We were introduced to a wonderful sake that is now ready to drink,
I was very happy to be introduced to this wonderful sake.
300 check-in🐾
Hirupeko Congratulations on 300 check-ins ㊗️🎉🎊
That's a very smart way to drink alcohol as an adult😊I want to be an adult who can drink like that soon... 😅Okayama sake is hard to find but there are many delicious drinks 😋.
Thank you, Rafa papa! I'm so glad that the sake god told you that. I am very attracted to Okayama sake. Surprisingly, it only takes an hour to get there from Osaka by Shinkansen (bullet train) 😊.
Congratulations on your 300th check-in, Hirupeko 🎉🎉🎉!
I like your idea of celebrating with delicious sake 👍I'm going to try Okayama sake, there are many delicious ones. I would love to try some of this sake!
Thank you, Pon-chan! I call you Pon-chan and you call me Peco, so please call me Peco 🙏 I almost forgot about the Chiba Sake Fair because of all the sake in Okayama, but no, I'm still going on!
Hi Hirupeko, good evening.
Congratulations on your 300 check-ins 🎉.
I always enjoy reading your reviews so much because they are always flowing, accurate and clean ✨.
I'm very interested in the Okayama sake as it was very good😊.
Congratulations on your 300th check-in ✨, Hirupeko 😚🎉!
I always enjoy your nice and detailed reviews 💓 and your comments on the theme 😆.
Keep up the good 🍶 living ☺️❣️
Congratulations on 300 check-ins Hirupeko, I think this is the first brand I've seen ㊗️ triple crown 😳
It's hard to get motivated to warm up sake this time of year, but it's nice that you're changing the temperature properly 😆.
Thank you, Manachie! The Three Crowns was a new encounter for me too, as I was able to learn about it at the restaurant this time ✨I still don't know much about all the sake! I will continue to enjoy drinking it 🎵!
Congratulations to Hirupeko-san for 300 check-ins: ㊗️🎉🎉🎉
It is wonderful that Hirupeko-san is always light on her footwork in her sake activities. Sake of Okayama prefecture is very deep. I would like to try many kinds of sake 😊.
Hi Hirupeko, I'm sorry to hear that 😃.
I just came back and congratulations on your triple crown 👑👑👑 and 300 check-ins 🎉.
That's a great expression, "lightly burnt cotton candy" 🤗I'd like to use it somewhere else 😊.
Thank you very much, Lutetemi! I've been out and about a lot this year, maybe too much sake activity 😅, but I also met Lutemi at the offline meeting 💕 and met Okayama Sake, so many good encounters 😊.
Hirupeko Congratulations on 300 check-ins 🎉🎊
I've been curious about the Three Crowns for a while now, and since a liquor store in Kobe seems to carry it, I'm aiming to get my hands on it 😁.
The burnt cotton candy looks like an interesting flavor and I suddenly want to pay attention to it 😆.
Congratulations on your belated 300 check-in, sister Peco🎊㊗️
I didn't know there was such a thing as the Triple Crown!
Speaking of Triple Crown, my generation is Naritabryan 😆.
Hirupeko, congratulations on your 300 check-ins㊗️🎉🎊I haven't had many encounters with Okayama sake, so this is very helpful. You always have a great way of describing the taste and I'd like to try it ❣️😆Hot sake is good too 😋.
Thank you, Tsubu-chan. Surprisingly, Okayama sake is not very common even in the Kinki area, so I was grateful to be introduced to it at the liquor store 😊I must try Tochigi sake too!
Hirupeko, congratulations on your 300 check-ins 🎉.
I always think it's great that you are actively engaged in sake activities 👀.
I will continue to refer to Hirupeko-san's kind reviews in the future!
Thank you very much, Yoohee😊Yoohee is always very knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages and has great information gathering skills! I refer to your information. And I didn't realize you were a friend of spi‼️
The rice used is Omachi, a representative sake brewing rice of Okayama.
Omachi is an excellent rice for sake brewing and was used as a crossbreed in many places, and was valued as the parent of superior varieties such as Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku.
About 2/3 of all existing sake brewing rice varieties are descended from Omachi.
This is a locally brewed sake that I had at a restaurant during a business trip to Okayama. I remember it was a classic type of sake with a food-like flavor. It went well with sashimi.
I like it 6 points/10 points
hard alcohol
Fresh ginjo aroma. In the mouth, fresh gas and bitter umami. When swallowed, it is tangy and spicy, and gradually finishes with a sharp taste.
Contrary to the aroma, this is a man's sake that comes on strong. Serve with a rare yellow fish marinated in miso.
