Japanese Sake Fest Osaka Spring 3️⃣
On Saturday, when I attended as a guest at this year's Japanese Sake Fest, I mainly toured sake that I had yet to try 😀.
First of all, I was most interested in Endo Sake Brewery, which is famous for Comet, my favorite sake from Nagano, which I had not had yet😇.
I have known the name Comet for a long time and was curious about it, but unfortunately I had never seen it sold yet 🤣.
Comet 39MCNAUGHT Junmai Daiginjo
It was a very beautiful but gorgeous yet clear and nice sake 😇
Naotora Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
This was the most robust of the Endo Sake Brewery's sake this time, but it had a full flavor.
It was a beautifully crisp sake 😀.
Endo GOLD Junmai Daiginjo
It is slightly low in alcohol at 14%, but it was a beautiful and delicious sake with a fresh aroma and sweetness with a fruity feeling that reminded me of melon😇.
Keiryu Sparkling
It was a delicious sake that I had a hard time deciding which one I liked best, Endo GOLD or Keiryuu 😇.
The taste was very similar and delicious, but I preferred this sake more for the sparkling's schwarziness😇.
All of them are delicious sakes with the same presence as my favorite Nagano sake lineage, but with a delicious flavor, fruity taste, and a nice sharpness😇.
Today's sake is Touakare, a limited edition sake that can only be purchased at the Endo Sake Brewery in Keiryu, Nagano Prefecture, during the opening of their brewery❗️❗️
The aroma has a subtle ginjo aroma: ❗️ Sip and you'll find a dense texture on the tongue followed by a slight acidity: ❗️❗️ Good as a mealtime sake: ⭕️
It is light but delicious with a light umami and a bit of fruity sweetness. It has a beautiful sake quality.
Because it is a bit fruity, this one is better on its own, but as a food sake, I prefer "Tora".

First time drinking at home in a while.
And today is nigori sake day.
This time I chose doburoku.
It was the first time in a long time that the sake was quite effervescent with a fresh taste. I felt the yeast was very lively.
It was very easy to drink, with a tight carbonation and a nice smooth taste down the throat.
I really wanted to eat chicken today, so I had chicken for dinner.
I've been looking for this sake at liquor stores for a long time,
I was curious about this sake.
I found out it was a sake brewery that made comets.
I took it home,
It has a weak cocoa flavor and is easy to drink,
It's good.
I drink more than 2 cups a day and finish it in less than a week,
I still have a few bottles left, so I'll buy some more,
Purchased at a nearby Maruhachi for just over 1,000 yen.
It is 20 degrees Celsius and has plenty of body.
The aftertaste is sweet and rich.
It goes well with simmered chicken and radish.
It is a wonderful sake.
Cold: Rich and delicious with sweetness and rice flavor. It has a lingering aftertaste.
Warmed: No big change, but still tasty.
The malt is aged at low temperature for three days to raise the alcohol content to 20%, then bottled as soon as it is squeezed in the morning and immediately stored in ice cold storage.
